I saw a thread in the Vancouver BD board and wanted some local feedback. What do you think is the importance of atmosphere VS the service? Would you see a great gal in a shitty place? Would you be more likely to return if the service was average and the place was lush? Let's hear some opinions here!!

IMHO...like that counts for anything ;-)

In a perpect scenario, I want the best of both worlds. Regardless of how good the service is...if I'm afraid of roach's (the crawling variety), uncleanliness or safety...not a place I want to be.

Just my 2 cents :D

I don't think one can underestimate how much the atmosphere can have an effect on service or the client's perception of service.

Personally for me, as long as the place is clean, I'm satisfied, but when the place is nicely done up, there's no doubt it enhances the experience for me. It makes the provider look far more professional, like they're serious about what they're doing and not just trying to turn over the quickest buck they can, so they don't mind sinking a bit of dough into overhead to tart up the venue nicely.

I think the best providers all realize that atmosphere is an important part of the whole experience and that how it is packaged is just as important as what is in the package (sorry, not the best wording, women are not packages).

Of my recent experience, Lucy's massage is an excellent example of a venue that really enhanced the whole experience.

Then again, I'm sure there are some pooners out there who are looking for a seedy experience, in which case cracks on the wall, bare mattress, holey sheets & dirty towels might just be in order.

Cheers,
-ZB.

I have to admit to wanting good atmosphere as well as service... going to VE for instance, with guys hanging out by the steps is a stretch.

Well I must say that service would be at the top of the list over atmosphere. However this said I would have a really hard time eating a nice meal in a restaurant if I saw that the kitchen was foul so to speak. In other words candles, nice scents, and nice music in a clean place can add such a nice touch.
Now also (not to ramble on or anything) just take note of coments post on here reguarding E@R's new location.

Cheers

Surroundings/atmosphere/setting, whatever you want to call it is only important if it isn't up to standard. While there are some connaiseurs out there who want the whole candles, soft music and low lighting thing, for myself, once the basics of safe/discreet, clean and reasonably convenient are met, the rest just doesn't matter all that much.

I think the atmosphere is very important. Sure the service has to be there. But I aml ooking for romance, even if it is simmulated.
My ideal setting a fireplace, cadles, soft romatic classical music, a glass of wine, all adds much to the experience.
All of this assumes that the place is clean to start with.

A great girl will not provide service in a bad place. A girl providing service in an unsanitary environment must be unsanitary herself.
