Thank you for all the advice it was most appreciated, however, I found out my concerns were misplaced. Yesterday my COO came into my office to ask about my Gf. He remembered her from our Christmas party, as we need a marketing specialist for a project for one of our clients. To make a long story short she came in for a meeting and found out she has clients in the U.K. New Zealand, Argentina, so thus the strange schedule and the number of cell phones (she has a dedicated phone for Europe, South America, etc.). So I guess that old saying comes to mind “if you see four hooves marks in the dirt assume it’s a horse not a zebra”.
On another note, we went out to dinner to celebrate her new contract and we started talking about the cost of MBAs in the U.S. v Canada. You guys have no idea how lucky you have it here she spent less than fifty thousand for her MBA at SFU, and paid it off in three years. I graduated in 2002 and I'm not even half way paying off my $130,000 loan for my MBA from Columbia. In addition Canada has a great universal healthcare system, safe clean cities, very little racism or homophobia and I love how religion and politics are not the bedfellows they are in the States. I came up here expressly for the bigger salary, but now I think I could live here forever.
