Thailand -- A bunch of Questions

For the past year or so, my friend has been trying to convince me to make a trip with him to Thailand. He's been over a couple of times and has regaled me with several great stories of his experiences, and it truly does sound like it would be a great trip. I figured tho, before I finally said yes to the trip, that I'd draw upon the Perb community experience for some questions. I'm sure that several of the regulars here have been there, and I'd be interested in getting your opinion on the following....

First off, is it worth it to fly half way across the world for a pooning Vacation to Thailand? What are the pros and cons?

How long would you recommend for a first visit? I'm debating between one and two weeks.

What is the risk of disease there? What do you think is and isn't safe? My biggest question would be regarding DATY and DFK'ing. BBBJ's and uncovered sex and not something I look for even in SP's here in Van.

What are the best places to look for SP's? Would you book through an agency? or just frequent the bars? I know my buddy has a lot of ideas, but a few more tips wouldn't hurt.

Any other tips you can add to what I've already asked would be really appreciated.

If the primary reason for your trip to Thailand is to see hookers, don't bother going. It's a long way to go for something you can get at home. If you want to visit an interesting country, with a rich culture, friendly people, great beaches, lots of shopping, etc., and maybe get yourself laid while your at it, Thailand would be for you. It's quite cheap, so if you're going for a couple of weeks, it wouldn't be so much more expensive than taking a beach vacation closer to home, even with the cost of the flight.

Have friends on holiday now and they went for a month.
I would concur with BushPilot.
If you are going just for your hobby forget it.
If you like to travel and are open to a beautiful country and people then go.

Been to Bangkok a few times! Try a variety of different actitivies. You definitely want to practice safe sex there. Forget about BBBJ, DATY.

For the strip bard, usually the bars in soi cowboy are better. Remember to stay till the end for the girls to put up a show for you with their pussies. You will be amazed!!

The massage parlours are very nice too. And you could get also girls from Russian and Eastern European countries.

Price is very cheap compared to here, however I would agree with Bushpilot. Don't go there just for pooning, doing some sightseeing and best of all, enjoying the Thai cuisine, one of my favorite.

Get ready for some hot temperatures, it can make Mexico feel lukewarm. Thailand is relatively close to the equator. Get ready for some diesel sulphur pollution and traffic jams, since in Vancouver we gripe about AirCare until we go to Mexico City or Thailand, etc.

Almost 20% of the young men have AIDs. The Thai government tests the recruits into the army and that is the percentage that they get for that subgroup - a horny virile subgroup.

I probably will opt for the 2 week trip, with a lot of sightseeing as part of that, but I am looking forward to soaking up a lot of the famous (infamous) Thailand nightlife.

Nonsense! I just got back from a month-long vacation in Thailand. Sounds like you're been reading the Christian Science Monitor. The sex industry there is not rife with out-of-control HIV+ outbreaks. With a little common sense and the same precautions one would take here, a safe, enjoyable and tryst-filled good time can be had.

Hey, you can contract HIV in every city on this planet. While your chances are a little higher in Bangkok, it is not like catching a cold...

It was just announced yesterday, that the US has recently suffered its 500,000 recorded AIDS related death to date.

As a frequent offshore pooner myself (Brazil 4-5 times/yr) I would strongly recomment you go down to Thailand with your Buddy! You will have the time of your life and come back with a changed outlook on this hobby of ours and relationships in general.

To answer some of your question I would suggest no longer than a week. You will do so much fucking that your dick will be sore by around the 5th day and the law of diminishing returns will kick in.

Always use condoms and make sure you take your fav. brand down with you. This is not because its thailand, this is because you are fucking hos and hos are an extremely high risk group just by the nature of how many people they have sex with!

In thailand I would suggest you visit Pattaya and Phuket both. Also make sure you hit the floating markets and the snake and crocodile farms. You will find massage places useful for your afternoon piece and usually bar girls are best for your all nighter. Make sure you negotiate everything upfront down to when you expect her to leave in the morning and whether u want to perform greek on her or not. Generally i found the girls there to be very sweet and friendly (havent been back there in ages so cant recall specifics)

Take plenty of money with you since thailand is a shopping Mecca for everything from software to athletic wear and clothes.

Most important piece of advice is once the plane lifts off the ground fantasy is over. Many girls will want to keep in contact with you and further down the line will ask you to send them money! Lots of guys fall for this. You are there to fuck prostitutes not fall in love with them!

Do a search for terms like -Thailand -AIDS -HIV -prostitution -commercial sex work.

You will see the numbers of AIDS/HIV cases among sex workers in Thailand.

Make sure you look at recent data because the numbers and trends have changed over the years.

Make an informed decisions based on the true risks involved.

True enough Dirk, I never meant to imply Thailand Bar seen was risk free, 6 in 1000 are infected and of those 1000 people who do you think the 6 people are? But then again if 6 in 1000 people in North America are infected…who would that 6 people be…it would be the same crowd.

In this day and age you got to bag it up no matter where you are getting your tail.
