Since Little Alex posted the link to that Bart Simpson tattoo in the Anal sex thread, it got me thinking about a few things like what I think about tattos on women (or men for that matter) and some of the better or funny tattoos, I've seen. Just the sort of mindless drivel to end my work day..

So yes oberon does have a tattoo and no it is not of a fairy! Mine is old, done more in the tough guy style than the more artistic style that is popular today. I've got an appointment to get a second done (after a 22 year break) in a few weeks. I actually thought of getting my first and pretty poorly done one repaired/covered but then realized it was part of my history and I'm not into covering up history, no matter how ugly. So a new one it is..

I never much liked tattoos on women when I was younger, I use to have a line " I don't sleep with women who have more tattoos than me", so one was the limit back then, boy am I glad I dropped that standard. I'm still pretty picky about tattoos but I actually like well done ones on women now. Kinda sexy if done right...

The one LA posted is one of the funnier I've seen, I remember a friend had a full back hounds and fox hunting scene with the only thing visible of the fox being the tail disappearing down the crack of his ass... another friend had a penis tattooed on the inside of his index finger, it made for some interesting looks when he would give the "come here" finger wag to some girl he just met...

aahh the friends of your youth..

King O. It seems like virtually every SP these days has a tattoo or two or three or more. Quite different from even a few years ago, however I think it probably relates more to girls and women in general getting more tattoos these days and flaunting them than to any upsurge in the SP population alone.
Yeah tattooing in general is just more popular, I went in for a consultaion with the lady who is going to do mine (consultation, sounds like a corporate merger), and she was very busy that day, quite a good cross section of society, from soccer moms and business men to young kids... Yeah I'm glad I got over my women and tattoo thing, I can think of two very beautiful and fun ladies I would have missed out on and belive me that would be a shame...

Joke:

A guy gets home late one night and his wife says: "Where have you been?"

"I was out getting a tattoo."

"A tattoo? What kind of tattoo did you get?"

"I got a hundred dollar bill on my penis."

"What the hell were you thinking? Why did you get a hundred dollar bill on your penis?"

"Well, number one, I like to watch my money grow. number two, once in a while, I like to play with my money. And lastly, instead of you going out shopping, you can stay right here at home and blow a hundred bucks anytime you want!"

Finally read the story you linked to in your first post, interesting. I use to threaten my wife that i would get her name tattooed on me, she said if I did she would leave me just for spite (I don't think she was kidding ;-)

As someone with 3 tattoos & counting, it should be pretty obvious that I love tattoos. The most important thing when considering getting a tattoo is finding a design that has some sort of meaning to you. In that respect, Oberon, I agree with your decision to get a new design as opposed to getting your old, poorly done one repaired/covered. Our history is what has made us in to who we are today.

By the way, I'd heard that joke before, actually by the artist who did my third tattoo, but it always gives me a good laugh,so thanks Oberon.

Thing is, all my Canadian tattoos healed badly, including work from the Dutchman's shop, while my Mexican tattoo healed fabulously. I'll have to take time off though - maybe I'll go on a vacation at the same time.
Damn sure you had to say that, guess where I'm getting mine done... oh well, I checked out a lot of the work by the person who is doing mine (not John) and was happy with what I saw and we had a good talk about what I wanted done..

My daughter has a huge one on her back, quite the rage with the younger women.

Personally I dont like them, the womans body is of such beauty, it is something to behold, however when you start adding tats and piercings to it, it debases that beauty, and it starts to look just average, and ordinary

Hmm, I wonder what you'd think of mine? heh.
Well it would take a close inspection before I could pass judgement... so very many women and so painfully little time...

I'll have to check them out sometime..

Tattoos are ok, provided there are only 1 or 2 and are very small.

If a woman has large tattoos it is a turn off for me.
