Swedish Touch closes after 37 years

The Swedish Touch is gone. After 37 years. What a loss. Where will be their new location? What parts of downtown will give the zoning to reopen?

I also hear Brandis will be closing. The Keg Restaurant downstairs closed so I think it's a Landlord issue.

Brandis used to be Millenium Club where they had that drug related shooting

Brandi's is the next to close. Brandi owned both the strip club and The Swedish Touch and their leases will not be renewed.

Swedish Touch had to pay $ 8000 a month in rent

Don't really care...Swedish Touch was a complete rip-off, and Brandi's was great the first few months when it opened years ago...and then became avoidable...

I agree. With this economy that we're in and the available beauties we have here at hand for a lot less in hourly rates. To be honest, Im very surprised S.T went on this long.
Brandi's in some weird way probably kept S.T alive IMHO.

After a few drinks at Brandi's and seeing those ladies, no doubt guys would head on downstairs for some fun.
I really doubt that S.T will reopen and if they do, they had better not charge their classic outrageous prices. They wont last now that Brandi's isnt there if they do.

Many thought that Madame Cleos would reopen......they never did.

You have to consider start up costs for reopening a studio. That issue was what probably discouraged Madame Cleos from reopening.

Swedish Touch used to be where the Le Soleil Hotel is now. They had their own building and their own private stairwell to the entrance. It was a perfectly discreet location for that type of business.

The website says Swedish Touch will reopen. I can only hope for the best. They had the best looking ladies in Canada. Some guys want to pay more for the best, and that has to be respected

ST was the only legal brothel in BC, so they could charge higher rates. I was there once or twice, once as an open house. The Asian dudes in the lounge scared me.

ST is a rip off! Menu i had was extremely limited. No kissing, no touching pussy, kept shirt around waste, used a freaking towel around my cock, no MSOG, only position available was cowgirl...paid for 1 hr but was pushed out in less than 30 min after finishing. Paid $140 for 1hr room fee and $200 for FS. I'm glad they are gone. BIG WOT and WOM.

I think that the Swedish Touch was one of the first MP's I ever visited... many years ago.

I remember being overwhelmed by lust meeting all the girls and picking one particularly friendly beauty. There were several very nice looking women available at that time. So I paid my fee at the door thinking that it wasn't too expensive only to find out on that round bed that I had only paid the first installment. I know the Touch was paying $ 10,000 a year to the City in license fees. The company that charges the Credit Cards there, Synapse Enterprises, has also pulled the plug.

And Platinum Club just took down their website. It says Under Construction but it's happening at the same time as The Touch closing so I think we all know what's happening

From what I saw they had just the same kind of girls that they did at ishq, platinum club and the fox ... They just charged more! Alot of the ladies would float between platinum and the fox that worked at the touch!
