I see that Palmeiro is done for the season. It seems that he allegedly told Congress that Tejada gave him a b-12 shot and that could possibly be the reason for his positive steroid test. Now the Orioles don't think it's a good idea for him to return to the team for the rest of the season. I think baseball is going through some tough times now with the steroid scandal and they should really do something about it. My opinion is that if a player tests positive for a banned substance he should be thrown out for life. Sounds harsh I know, but consider that these guys can make an awful lot of money, and if they want to throw it all away trying to get an edge and endangering their lives, it's their choice, but accept the consequences.Take their tainted records and stats away as well. Save the ten game suspensions for guys charging the mound or doctoring the ball. Any other opinions?
