Just curious what you other sask perbites are thinking about this "scandal" is this finally the nail in the coffin that will move this province forward???
Without getting too far into partisan politics, what I will say is that I've known Glen Hagel for over 20 years; he is probably the only politician that I absolutely trust. He has told me many times over the years that he considers public service a noble calling and his motives for being in politics have always been the right ones; he isn't a "single-issue" guy; he genuinely believes in serving the public good and feels it is his obligation and responsibility. Whatever you might think of the NDP, Glen is a completely standup guy.
Okay; just ONE partisan shot: I'm not a huge fan of the direction the Calvert goverment has gone in recent years, but I also remember the LAST time the province decided to "move forward" with a "conservative" government. I put "conservative" in quotes because they spent and stole the province into a hole of debt that took Roy Romanow and his government 10 years to clean up. As Murray Mandryk of the LP wrote in those days; electing the Romanow goverment finally gave Sask the conservative government it voted for when they elected Devine. nuff said
