It's official.
I have received my acceptance letters and schedule for school this fall. I've been accepted into a licensure program that takes 2 years. For those of you whom I have disclosed this to, I made it!
My first year is almost entirely correspondence with a few seminar dates throughout. Although I will be a full time student the correspondence courses that I am taking will be in theory, easy to manage while working as an SP.
Come September, I would like as much notice as possible for engagements. I have been great with short notice appointments in the past but I may not be able to manage it as efficiently. Escorting will be secondary and the main focus of my attention will be on my studies.
My second year does include a sponsorship and at that point I will be part time.
Wish me luck, it's been great for the most part but I have new horizons to conquer. My talents are best used in another avenue to maximize my personal growth. I'm sure you understand, I can't be an SP forever.
