budget, size of group, do you need a kitchen, area for photography? There should be plenty of choices if you book well enough in adavance.

info.

Its a small group of about 75 people, and I need full catering services as well.
I know lots of hotels that offer this service but I was thinking of something a little different. Budget is maybe around 3000-4000 for everything included in the reception. I'm looking for november of this year. Thansk again.

I am sure lots of people here on perb have been to a reception in vancouver somewhere, and was hoping for some personal input. It's easy to call a place and get all the info but im looking more for a personal review of people who have used the facility before. :)

Top of Queen Elizabeth Park has a great view facing northward. There's valet parking, and a fireplace to keep your bum toasty.

somethin' different hey?

I'd go for the Waldorf Hotel...does anybody remember the 'Wig Out' parties in the tiki lounge? Wig out & wear your disco-era polyester. Geez, i'd even go.

Grandview Bowling Lanes for some 'Glow in the Dark' fun would be my 2nd choice.

The best place I have been to for a dinner reception was the Aquarium. The food was good, the venue is totally cool, and they did a great job putting it all together. Tables were set in the tropical fish room.
