I was looking up various sites to learn more about Pattaya, and found this report written by a veteran on r*ddit. I pasted it here for the benefit of anybody planning a trip. NOTE: I did not write this, I haven't stepped foot in Pattaya, don't ask me any questions.

Walking Street : it's a very long street leads to adult Disney world, it also has a couple of Soi's (soi means side street that connects to the main road)Walking street is the home of Pattaya's nightlife, it has everything, so expect to see gogo's, open air bars, live music bars, by the hour rooms, clubs, disco's, restaurants, freelancers, hotels, toilets, restaurants, ping pong venues, go cart tract, boutique stores, 7-11, street performers, even a fucking McDonald's and Burger King, it's really fucking amazing, you will see things, smell things, witness things, TAKE part in things you won't believe, fuck that movie hang over, they went to tame Bangkok not walking street, walking street has all the things below, did I mention it's amazing, you can " short time " and "Long time " here, some venues have on-site facilities, and also walking street is considered the gem of Pattaya nightlife so its gonna be more expensive for drinks and bar fines, and donations to girls college funds

1. you need deep pockets for walking street to engage with the girls
2. you'll have to buy lady drinks to engage, pay bar fines here, no negotiation here, these girls want the princess treatment so your it cost $$$$ to spend time with them
3. The Windmill, Sapphire

1. this is a much cheaper option because of it being a short time area with on-site rooms, which means you can skip the lady drinks and even your drinks, the bar fine is very cheap because it's for the on-site room rental
2. so many girls, I'm not kidding, all trying to get you to buy them a drink and take them upstairs or out of the bar
3. this should NOT be a area you go to if your not ready for girls constantly grabbing at your dick

Now for some terms and what they mean and what to expect as well

Bar fine: this is a fee you must pay the gogo to take the girl away from the bar, the girls in the gogo's and gentleman's clubs main job is to get you to buy lady drinks, therefore if you take her away from the bar the bar will lose revenue so changing you a fee will help them recover whatever she might of sold in her absence, bar fines vary and depend on the girls status in the gogo and what time you are bar fining her, usually 1500 to maximum of 2000 baht, example: girl is a stunner/10 and you want to bar fine her at 9pm expect the bar fine to be really high, usually 2000, 3 hours later at 12 am it will be 1500, Walking Street and LK Metro will higher bar fines than a gentleman's club or Soi 6

Bar fine cost and variables

1. gogo bar fines on walking street: depending on the girl will start at 1000 and max out at 2000, at 12 am the usual bar fine will be 1500 for 8,9 and 10's, any higher might be for 2 reasons, either she's a spicy 10 or she doesn't really want to go with you and told a you high amount to scare you away
2. any place that has on-site rooms (which include gentleman's clubs, Soi 6, Bj bars) the bar fine will be cheaper, which starts at 300 and maxes out at 500, it doesn't matter what time or how hot the girl is, these prices never change
3. if you take a girl from a place with on-site rooms you will have to pay a higher bar fine which is usually 800-1000
4. Bar fines are the same for ST and LT

Times you need to know about
