I have finally admitted to myself she won't be coming back.

I'm going to hold a candle light vigil at Olympic plaza tomorrow night.

Time to start looking for a new regular.........

A sad sad realization for sure. I could possibly join you for the candlelight vigil. You positive, like really positive she won't return?

Not positive, no reason to think she won't be coming back, just time to move on I guess since she's been absent so long. I also noticed her website is now down.

I like to have a regular SP, things are better that way, when there gets to be some chemistry and a level of comfort.

Hope more Van SP's make their way out here !!

I believe she is still around the city even if she isn't working. I spotted a super-stacked lady at the Calgary game on Sunday night. I confess I was just checking her out (repeatedly) because she was such a hottie when it hit me that it was Pam (of Pamtime)--

Any thoughts to flirt with her ended there as you gotta respect her right to a private life

I am a customer of Pam and I think that is very rude that she does not even care about letting people know what her plans are. I mean all we need is at least let us know that she is retired, or maybe if she is not at least have the minimum courtesy of letting , us her customers, know what she has in her mind. I know I have moved on an not planning on seeing her even if she came back. I guess if she does not care neither should we.

You're kind of self-absorbed aren't you ? Maybe if you knew what was really going on you would not be so judgemental. Let's just say that Pam has dealing with some personal problems and she owes nothing to you or anyone else. She needs time for herself and there is nothing wrong with that. She is a person too and has the same crap as each and everyone of us.

I am in limited contact with her and she is going through ALOT that she has to work through. There is a good chance that she will be back WHEN everything has been taken care of. Not 100% but the chances are good. Be patient, respect her time away and stop being an ass !

OK OK I may have came through a little bit to agressive . I just think it is not very difficult to write something like this :
"Guys I am sorry I am not available due to personal problems " that is all. I hope all goes well with her and her issues wish her the best still count me out I am sure she won't miss me or berzerk.

No she probably won't miss you if that is your attitude. Maybe, have you stopped to think that with what it is going on, it is more important she takes care of herself first and business second ? Life does not revolve around money and "business", at the end of the day, you can't take it with you. No one ever says on their death bed that the wished that they worked more and had more money before they go.

Needless to say, that if you are upset about it that much, then please don't call her if she comes back as she does not need clients like you weighing her down. She has enough crap in her life, she doesn't need whiners and complainers who bitch about her not being available to "serve you". Shit happens.... if she isn't open for business, she isn't open. That's the way it is.

My regular SP travels alot and there are times when she takes off time for herself and I respect that. When she returns, we set up times and when she's gone, she's gone. I never expect her to stop her life for $$$ a few times a month. If that is how cheap life is to you, then you are barking up the wrong tree, your money isn't worth that much to anyone. Remember it is a job, NOT their life. Maybe there are some that are willing to sacrifice everything for it, but most are not.

Pam has built up a client base on her personality and service, and I can guarantee you won't be missed, so don't let the door hit your ass on the way out ! If someone else can fill those shoes for you, all the best to you. If you read any of the previous threads and used your other brain, you would be able to read between the lines and not have to someone tell you she is going through personal problems.

I agree with Analyst,

If I was an SP, and I ran into some major personal issues, I wouldn't put a lot of effort to let my clients know what's up. She is not obligated to do or say anything to anyone.

She usually sends me a handwritten note written on watermarked linen paper stuffed in an engraved monogrammed envelope as a thank you note after each visit. Didn't you get one indicating she would be unavailable for some time?

OMG LMFAO.
Pam is a really good gal. Sp's don't owe pooners an explaination and pooners don't owe SP's an explaination if either decide to leave. When is the last time a pooner posted a memo to an SP saying,

"SP #2, Unfortunately, my wife is starting to catch on to my hobby and I think I may have to take a break."
or
"SP #2, I have a life aside from the hobby. I will be on vacation in Mexico this month. Please excuse me as I will not be around."
Pam has a life aside from the business. A lot of pooners have been really good about her not being around. They have not asked why she left, where she went, and how she is doing. I think she can appreciate those pooners.
Not often, but every now and then, ya get that one guy who forgets we have personal lives as well. They think all we do is sit next to the phone and wait for that call. I have been shopping for groceries and actually had calls where the guys said
"Oh your grocery shopping? Can you hurry, I'd like to see you."
Ummmm NO!

We're not busting your balls....it's Einstein (Ozzopolar)... I don't think anyone has a problem with you missing her. That is actually nice of you to say, I think Ozzopolar THINKS that you agree with him.

Maybe Rocker65 knows this tune?

Artist: Los Bravos
Song: Black Is Black

Black is black
I want my baby back
It's gray, it's gray
Since she went away, Ooh-Ooh
What can I do
'Cause I-I-I-I-I'm feelin' blue

If I had my way
She'd be back today
But she don't intend
To see me again, Ooh-Ooh
What can I do
'Cause I-I-I-I-I'm feelin' blue

I can't choose
It's too much to lose
My love's too strong
Wow! Maybe if she
would come back to me
Then it can't go wrong

Bad is bad
That I feel so sad
It's time, it's time
That I found peace of mind, Ooh-Ooh
What can I do
'Cause I-I-I-I-I'm feelin' blue

I can't choose
It's too much to lose
My love's too strong
Wow! Maybe if she
would come back to me
Then it can't go wrong

Black is black
I want my baby back
It's gray, it's gray
Since she went away, Ooh-Ooh
What can I do
'Cause I-I-I-I-I'm feelin' blue
'Cause I-I-I-I-I'm feelin' blue
