Nookie got this PM today...

************************
"Now you've done it.....
With a great review like that she will now be too
busy to get time with.
Now that we know she is only here until Sept.
There will be a line around her block to see her.

Damn!! sometimes it is better to keep quite and enjoy a girl by yourself.
That is what happened with my friend *****. I'm a reg of hers, now she is so busy I barely get time to see her once a month.

So, can you give me ***s detials Maybe I can get sometime to see her.

Thanks bud."

*****************
So what do you guys think? If you find someone who advertises her services, you test the waters and find out she's a gem, do you withhold information from the members, share with select few, not share the information at all?

You know what Nookie Monster's opinion is on this. If its an advertiser, Nookie feels a sense of responsibility to the members and the provider to promote good service and caution bad service. After all, isn't this a review board?

Interested in everyone's opinion... including SP's

In my opinion Nookie, whether the gal gets reviewed or not she will
be busy. Of course depending for the first while if she doesn't advertise
herself anywhere. That's where a review will get her busy for sure.

Like AMP's for instance most don't advertise who the girls are or what
they look like. Reviews help reveal these "hidden" gems or not so gems.
Same with micros for the most part. Word gets around even if it's not
done by reviews.

Gals who advertise like on this site or elsewhere are bound to be found
by the masses sooner or later. Reviews though do have a bearing on
how busy the gal will be right off.

Also, if the gal is new to the biz, everyone wants to give her a try to
see what she has to offer. After a while things will settle down as the
interest wains to look for new talent elsewhere.
Just my 2 nickels worth here.

Cheers!

I believe you should review and alert other perberts about a gem and a WOT, including details on her looks, services offered and $.

I was curious about Miko but the reviews seemed lukewarm. Now that she's gone and no where to be found I don't get a chance to see her, meanwhile everyone's raving about how good she was. Thanks guys.

Sharing information about all the girls you see, regardless if you're going to flood her and not be able to get an appointment with her should be everyone's responsibility, otherwise what's the point of this board?

I've been told by more than one gentlemen that they usually won't review their regulars or ATF and one of the main motivation for not reviewing was that they don't want to risk shooting themselves in the foot if she becomes to busy as a result. A lot of gentlemen don't buy most of what's written but I think a lot of pooners need the "guarantee" their money will be well spent. Reviews offer some assurance and there's nothing wrong with that but I think the outcome and effects are very much dependant on how the review is written(=who it attracts as a result) as well as how a girl can adjust to the attention that can come from some reviews.

I think it can be a great help for girls who want to make lots of money in a short time but can also work against them in a lot of ways. For one, too much too fast may be hard to adjust to, too much pressure and a lot of attention quick means a lot of weirdos & jerks to learn to deal with and avoid. I guess it depends on the girl's motivations but everytime I see those "gem" reviews, maybe it's just me but I just feel bad for them. :( I'm sure some of them burn out quick. I can't imagine having to deal with that kind of pressure now (that would defeat the purpose - for me).. I know there's no way I would have been able to at 20, 21.. Sometimes I think you guys forget that. And when for some (obvious) reason she can't meet everyone's expectations or starts flaking out, then the nasty reviews come or maybe she raises her rates because she's overwhelmed... then ppl start bitching about how it's gone to her head.. There's no winning from that point.

But reviews that attract a nice amount of good, fun and respectful quality gentlemen are of course great and probably don't have much of a negative effect to the author (still being able to get appointments..), a much more relaxed, happy SP who can still enjoy what she's doing at a nice steady pace. Slow and steady. Can't go wrong.. ;) I'm not sure there's any way of knowing what kind of attention a review may create. Some of it depends on the way it's written for sure, but that isn't all of it.

I'll let you know when I'm done my thesis on the causes and effects of a postitive reviews on SP's and pooners... it may be a while though cause I'm still working on my thesis on the effects of daily sex as replacement for jogging. I haven't started writing it, I'm still collecting data so yeah.. it may take a while. I have lots of data to collect. hehe

:D :p

I've kept a favorite under wraps for a few months of visits before I've reviewed her. But mostly I do review all the gals I see.

I'm not certain that's necessarily the case.

Any decent SP will go out of her way to see the regular client as opposed to pushing them aside to make way for new happy clients. At least I do that.

The one thing that many of those that prefer to keep their favourites under wraps seem to favour that a public recommendation would make their favourites less available due to demand and the SP wanting to be accomodating. What they don't realize is that that may very well NOT be the reason why their favs aren't available for them. There can be any number of reasons and whether or not the favoured SP for the moment will volunteer that reason to you, it's just best not to jump to any conclusions.

All in all Nookie, you have the best policy out there in that, in my experience with you, you ask for permission to post a review. Not many people have the courtesy to do that. Because of that, I will never forget you but at the same time I will never forget all those that have made me the success that I am today and that is EVERY SINGLE ONE OF YOU.;)

Interesting thread, thanks Nookie Monster.

I am a lurker trying to force myself not to lurk lol.
I think the reviews and comments by everyone help create an environment were there are less misperceptions. I certainly have been saved from unpleasant experiences by reading about other peoples experiences and advice.

I find it challenging to write a review, I almost feel shy or something and tend to write abruptly, often just not posting.

working hard at posting more often.

Balanced comments

Since Nookie's post, its very gratifying to read some very well thought comments from both sides of the pooning coin. Nookie has been following the thread and wanted to see how the discussion would progress.

Thank you ladies (Bijou, Stephanie/CLM, Nina) for giving us your comments. It's likely that some pooners who never really thought how reviews can enhance their intimacy probably had their perceptions of SP's change slightly. Nookie posts often and he must say that when he meets an escort who has read some of his reviews for the first time there is a genuine connection and satisfaction in matching a face to his written words. Before Nookie began posting his reviews, if he saw an escort that had been reviewed, he would feel like he already knew that person.

For the ladies who took time to post on this thread, thank you as Nookie would was hoping the opinions that came out to date provide refreshing point of view that Nookie was already aware but some Perb readers may not have considered.

For the clients, remember the majority of us do this hobby for fun. The more we make our service companions feel relaxed, the more you will benefit from the experience. Since Nookie has given good publicity to some SPs, he has only been occasionally disappointed by not getting an appointment. This however happens more often when the SP's themselves have regular jobs and are only doing escorting part time. Nookie has even had some providers express their disappointment in already being booked and their inability to take Nookie's appointment.

Anyways, it all started with a PM to me and I just wanted to popularize the topic so that pooners think carefully about the bigger picture when they decide to keep a provider "who advertises" under wraps. Notice I use the words "who advertises". If Nookie discovers that cute Safeway clerk who always flirts with him wants to make some money on the side, then Nookie would very likely keep this gem to himself.

I thought some more about the subject and...

in my experience the ones who have decided to keep me a secret rarely made subsequent visits. It's more like the subsequent visits are wide apart, in some cases weeks, months, sometimes even years!

I think that those complaints may also be out of fear that when a SP is favourably reviewed, the rate goes up.

Weird, huh? Keeping quiet so the SPs rates stay low and then barely make a visit.

.
You must think we're richer than we are if you think that weeks or months apart is a long time. I'm lucky that I can budget $400 a month towards pooning but even at that, it would be weeks between seeing a gal at best.
