An "Urban Dictionary" definition for mancation describes it as men engaging in masculine activities such as sports, camping, gambling, chasing women and drinking, without the presence of wives, mistresses or girlfriends. Vince Vaughn helped popularize the term in this summer's romantic comedy "The Break-Up."

Did they really have to come up with a new term for something that guys have been doing for years? It's called NOT MARRIED.

I seem to be at the stage where a lot of my friends who about 10 years ago got married and started to breed are now getting divorced. In the past month I've had two of them tell me how lucky I am that I stayed single and decided to get a dog vs. kids. Now I'm not one to say "I told you so" but, well "I told them so"! When its public knowledge that ~50% of marriages fail the fact that some people are surprised to be headed off to family court escapes me.
