I've had mixed feelings about BP, and after reading your post I think I know why. You really hit the nail on the head here! When I was a kid I lived in a small town where BP was really the only casual dining restaurant around (there were a couple of fast food places that my family never went to, as well as a couple of fairly fancy places that we also never went to... it's a good thing my mom was a good cook) and we went there every now and then. I loved it. My family loved it. Since moving to Vancouver, I've gone to BP a few times, but I've been largely underwhelmed by the food there (although I do recall having a pizza there not too long ago that was actually pretty tasty, and their nachos are always decent).dr_pepper said:BP is never great. It is sometimes "good". Their pizza isn't terrible, but is way over priced. In larger cities BP just plain sucks for food, service, you name it. In the smaller towns where these are sometimes the main restaurant, they are in their "good" rating. I find their pasta soggy and their pasta sauces very American'ish. Very sweet and sugary tasting.

That is about all Boston Pizza is good for is being open late with so called food available to eat in the early moring hourswolverine said:The only other time I'd do Boston Pizza is for late-night post-drinking eats. There's one in downtown Edmonton that's usually open til 4 AM on weekend nights.
