but i really hope that canucks will kick some butts when they play home and home against sharks, that way we may have all three canadian teams in the playoffs

Edmonton
It's gonna be close

but one things the Oilers have going for them is that they own a tiebreak vs. the Canucks because they won the seasonal series.

If they can't win against bottom-feeders like St. Lou then I hold little chance for them to succeed in the playoffs, never mind making it into the playoffs.

Thats a demoralizing loss(must be, although i didn't see the game)....

I think edm will be the team left behind. I thought it was gonna be Vancouver, but a couple things happened this weekend. Vancouver not only got Jovo back, but he friggin' scored the game winner. That is gonna be a huge lift for VAN and will propel them into the playoffs. And I think it's great for all the bandwaggon jumping canucks fans out there that were on this guys case all year and he will be their savior(HEY MARVIN,you HEAR THAT????)...

Edmonton's loss to the blues is a killer....And SJ is playing well enough and have a couple games in hand...

i hate to say it, but i think edm will be on the outside looking in

No, No, NO.

You just got to believe! Canucks will screw themselves somehow.

Oilers are one of those potential eight spot team that others don't want to face. They'd rather face a Vancouver in eigth spot, than Edmonton.

Edmonton has a shut down defenseman in Pronger and a shut down forward in Michael Peca. Canucks don't really have a shut down defenseman or forward. Canucks are hoping that the playoff games will be decided by 7 - 3 scores, like against L.A. Kings.
