Oilers won 2:1. Looks like they managed to stay in the series. It can only get better from here on in.

Great win for Edmonton, they played well, on a side note NBC King 5 out of Seattle didn't carry the feed as NBC is supose to show games 3 - 7. and while watching the highlights NBC did carry the game in Raleigh, North Carolina? I'd rather watch the NBC feed as the do a fantastic job with their production.

when the ref called back the second edmonton goal i was choked because they showed one angle and it looked like he should have seen it. but i am happy they won and hopefully they can bring all together to win the stanley cup HOME.

The team can go to the Carolinas to sharpen their golf stroke before coming home, but youre right, better book your tee times as the team will take all the bookings.

Never count the OIL out unless the ...

Fat Lady is singing. Two more wins to Lord Stanley #6. One more loss to a better year than 28 other teams. I do not see anyway they can lose.:p

And they finally score a power play goal!
And Hemsky is finally deciding to shoot instead of pass!
There is hope yet for the Oil...keep it going, boys!

I told you it would be oilers in seven, after the calgary flames decided to give someone else a chance this year and bowed out lol !:)
Once it's over, don't hurt yourself from jumping off the bandwagon! :p

Gotta love the Oil...

Well for being the FIRST EVER 8th seed team to make the finals, I think they are doing a damn good job of it. They never dweled on the goalie changes..The way that they beat themselves in some of the games in this series (Game 2 in particular).

I think that they have tasted victory, and can smell the polish on Lord Stnaley's Cup in the THEIR locker room!!!

Good luck guys, and keep it going...Bring the cup home!!!

That should silence the fans to the south of Edmonton, and those that doubted fate..

BTW.. All you Calgary fans, that have converted to the Oiler bandwagon....How are the rafters looking in the Saddledome? We can't seem to see our for all of the pennants up there!!! Not the most in the league...But the most in the province!!

First? Aren't there two (east/west) 8th seed teams in every playoff?

Now that's the Oilers I expected to show up in the Finals. If they play at the same level they did last night or exceed it, then they can bring back #6! They better, because I think the Canes will come out swinging.

"Jumping off the bandwagon?" Pfffffffffffffffffft i am going to BURN the damn thing. I really want them to win being an ALBERTA girl . But i really don't want them to win. :D

As it will be rubbed in our faces for the next 15 years until they win again.:(
No self respecting Flames fan really wants the Oilers to win but after last night I think their going to. I will (choke choke choke) give them props. I thought they were done when Roly went down. I don't know how I going to live with all the Oiler fans I know. Maybe we'll just have to throw them out of Calgary :)

Ditto that Jimmy. I never dreamed they would get THIS far.

Just a short week ago I would have never bet on the oilers to win the cup. Now, its looking very much like they're actually gonna pull it off.
