So I've been goin' out with this Canadian girl for 3 months now, and I told her I love to smoke weed and go snowboarding, I had a season pass last year and not only do I love to show off, but I'm realy good at it so I enjoy goin' up on my days off. I went up Thursday for some night ridin' at cypress, starts at 4 I was there at 4:10, ends at 10, Thursday was ugly it was raining hard so I looked over the conditions and concluded I didn't want to destroy my phone so I left it in my car, a reasonable thing to do I persume. Long story short I had fun on the mountain with my buddy brian who just finished his 5th year of electrical and graduated from BCIT, since he's been on lockdown for the last 4 weeks studying I took him up my treat as a reward for finishing his shit. I get to my phone and I missed 17 calls, 4 texts all her, explaining how me being upset was no reason to ignore her, I was surprised because I didn't know I was upset with her. So I call her to explain I wasn't upset I was just away from my phone, I called 5 times durine the 1 1/2 drive home, and she never picked up, so basicaly she assumed I was upset so I was avoiding her calls, but when I tryed to call her she was upset and wouldn't pick up the phone. So I texted her explaining what had happened and she responed with "I'm so sure, how's you're girlfreind", I said she's realy upset with me because I missed her call while I was snow-boarding, to which she said, I'm not your girlfriend, how's the bitch you cheated on me with. and I was like fuck I'm gonna make it clear I was just showing a good friend who's a guy a good time cause he did something that's realy difficult so I had brian call her and explain it. she didn't belive him, so I texted her "have fun, delete my phone #, I told the truth from the start but you chose to read what you wanted into it, so I'm out don't bother calling, now I'm upset and will ignore your calls"

She's called me 12 times, texted me 18 times tryin' to appoligize in the last two days, but I guess that's how girls opperated, they pull these bull-shit games to try and take control of you so they can monitor you every second of everyday. But when you tell them something that's true they won't belive you, so you tell them off and all the sudden they're crawling back to you. If I ask my girl what she's upto and she says I'm eating dinner with megan from work, then I have no reason to belive she's not eatin' someplace with a girl named megan, I don't just jump up and say she's fuckin' some dude cause I can trust a person to tell me the truth.

Ohh and I call her a "canadian girl" cause I'm from Atlanta and she's the first Girlfriend I've had up on this side of the border, please tell me they're not all this crazy. Sorry bout the long read, and the gramatical error's I wasn't so good at payin' attention in school.

All I can say is you've done well. It's a mutual respect thing. By not apologizing for something you did not do wrong, and sticking up for yourself, you've shown that you respect yourself. How can a person be expected to be respected if he doesn't respect himself? Good job man.

But she likes the sex, so untill further notice if she calls me it's for that one reason only, and I know this girl likes it daily so Win, Win, I still think she's crazy. I was havin' this nightmare this afternoon about her and me, and it gave me that sad guy from The Hangover feeling, you know the Dentist, I was like I'm not ending up like that guy.

btw the best part of your story was the detail about how brian is doing in his life. I reall thought that held it all together.

Sometimes you need to add a 3rd complex character to realy compel the reader to the story, so that they can connect with what the story is all about.

funny part is although I'm here, from the point in which we both agreed to open the door to an exlusive relationship, to when we closed it I never engaged in a sex act with another human being, I did once while we were still in a sexual relationship without any strings attached, but when strings were put into play I don't play the guitar on peoples hearts.

Our society has become so 'on demand' that it is sad really. I'm guilty of this myself, when I call a cell and don't get a reply (and I know that the person should be available) I start to worry about their safety. Remember the old days of tape based answering machines and once you left the house you were no longer 'in touch'? There are times when those days are missed.

Kimargan, all you had to do to avoid all this drama is let her know where you'd be and that you'd be out of touch. She may have responded a little overboard but you can't walk away from here without any blame.

Accualy I had told her that morning, that if Brian passed his finals, and was sober enough to go up to the mountains that night, that I would, she just didn't think I'd accualy follow through with my plan because it was hatched at 1:30am in a garage smokin' weed. Then that day at noon we were in another friend of mines garage, chillin' smokin' on some of that killer plant, she was again present, and his mom had a freak out, not about us smokin' weed because she does as well, but she told us to find a new scene. My girl was like well I'm goin' home, to which my buddy said and I quote, "hey lets go by your place and set up your snowboard stuff", so while she was getting into her car to leave, my buddy throws his board into my car. She said I didn't think you guys were seriously just gonna go upto the mountains out of the blue,normaly you plan that sort of thing. I was like, we put a board in my car that's a pretty serious statment of intent. She say's she didn't notice him load his board in, to which I said it was all I talked about from 6pm last night till noon that day was I wanted to find someone to come up to the mountains with me because it was my day off.

She gets her wires mad twisted because I spent alot of my time as a kid around girls, my brother and I were basicaly raised by a tapistry of aunts and grandma's, so I'm realy comfertable talking to girls and outside of football buddies and guys to chill and smoke one with I am close friends with alot of girls. But she gets mad gelious over stupid, irrelavent things, there are some girls I am just friends with, prime example is a friend of mine Krystal she's 20, but her daughter is 3, we've been friends as long as I've lived in this contry. She has a husband Chris who I am good friends with as well, and Krystal, Chris and I smoke weed together, save for one big problem, there 3 year old so if I am to catch up with them I have to go AFTER the baby's asleep, normaly 9, and I come home at like 11. According to her I've been cheating on her with Krystal for the entire time we've been going out, I don't know why she thinks that because she's met krystal, and chris, and cailey, and should be smart enough to know that although krystal is attractive I'm not in the buissness of breaking up a married couple with a child, and not only that they're two of my oldest friends in canada which would be a harsh thing to lose.
