I have wondered about this for a long time. What do the majority of gentleman really think about "Gifts" pages on girls' websites? Greedy? Tacky? Insightful? Useful?
Do guys really request for ladies to post a "Gifts" page on their websites?
Most of the time when I see wish lists, I find them to be in poor taste, however, there is one lady who has an extremely tactful and classy "Gifts" page:
Gifts
For the most part, I think they are tacky, greedy, in poor taste, and arrogant sounding. Sometimes, it can tell enough about the personality of said SP that I will never recommend her to anybody. I won't mention names, but I've seen some where some ladies will consider items in trade, but makes a mention that the price must ALWAYS be in her favour by a lot. To me, they are already charging 200+ for a situation in which they may also feel pleasure, and I guess it's an ego trip for them to get bonus gifts out of suckers. I've talked to an SP friend of mine about this (we have a chat every 2 weeks about the "state of affairs" in the business) and we debate various topics. She thinks that a lot of girls are in this business for the ego trip it gives them. They come from situations where they have high powered bosses making tons of money in a male dominated workforce. They feel that no matter how hard they work, no matter how smart they are, etc. they will not be given the same opportunity as an equivalent male. But now, these same high powered bosses are paying THEM 4 times as much or more to have sex with them, and it's like their revenge, their levelling of the playing field, and it does wonders for their psyche.
I'm totally with HFS, hitrack, and mustangjoe on this one. The gifts pages reek of greed and goldigging. I think there is a place for inexpensive thoughtful gifts for somebody you may also consider a friend in addition to your SP. Expensive gifts for SP's are just downright silly unless she's your SO.
By the way, the weather was cold and the SP I saw had a bit of cold, which is why I bought the hot chocolate on the way there... so actually, it was a thoughtful and much appreciated yet inexpensive gift. It resulted in a better session so it more than payed for itself.
