I know that many pooners have given out little gifts to the SP. I am curious about what people have given out as gifts to the girls. For the ladies, whats the most interesting thing that you ever recieved from your clients?

You're gonna laugh at this one, but I once gave an SP a cannister of Tim Horton's Hot Chocolate. She said she loved it, but I think she was just being nice hahaha. :D

I bought my long-time SP a fur, full length arctic fox. Seemed like a good idea at the time but wouldn't do it again. Also gave her a tv, she was hooked on General Hospital and Young and Restless.

I say 200 bones or whatever the cost is, a thanks, and a slap on the ass on the way out the door should do.

Save the Lexus, earings and shit like that for when your GF catches you with a hooker or finds a condom wrapper on your car floor board.

I don't, as a matter of course, give gifts. I do, however, usually tip, and with some of the girls I see regularly I'll routinely put more money in the envelope than they ask for. I do sometimes bring a nice bottle of wine or champagne with me to a session.

Having said that, I do like to see my fav's at Christmas time and try to remember birthdays and the like. Favourite gifts I like to give include jewelry and sexy lingerie. Sometimes I bring a gift if I've had to cancel an appointment, or if I haven't seen a favourite for a while. Sometimes, just because I want to. I like giving beautiful things to beautiful women. A lexus or a fur, though, is a bit beyond my financial abilities. ;)

Maybe the 649 will come through for me.

I don't (should say never did) give fukk all, as when all this poonig shit is over and you sit back and think about the dollars wasted, the extra you spent in gifts that don't mean shit all now only adds to how much you'll be shaking your head.

In a nice wet pussy!
From my recollections...

Flowers, chocolates are pretty standard fare, however one gal I know got a new car, a large TV, household goods, a diamond Cartier watch, trips and some very expensive 24K jewelry items from one of her clients. And he was married with two kids in tow...

From what I've seen anyway, promises of gifts don't mean a thing and are quickly forgotten. It's amazing how the appetite for giving cools down after ten sessions or so. Something to do with the word "commitment".

I've NEVER been one to buy into this fucked up notion of SP's who have the insane "wish lists" on their site.....I'll always respect the lady, pay her whats fair, hell I may genuinely like her as a friend but I'll sooner go ice skating with the devil than buy an SP a lexus, fur coat, tennis braclet, etc...
I have wondered about this for a long time. What do the majority of gentleman really think about "Gifts" pages on girls' websites? Greedy? Tacky? Insightful? Useful?

Do guys really request for ladies to post a "Gifts" page on their websites?

Most of the time when I see wish lists, I find them to be in poor taste, however, there is one lady who has an extremely tactful and classy "Gifts" page:

I have sent nice flowers and have even purchased some jewelry (under $100) for a very special regular who has turned into a "friend" in more ways than the usual friend. For the lady to get on this special list of mine, I have never recieved any free services nor ever expected them. They were fun to be with more than the others and we "connected". Well, this all sounds like alot of crap but it's my story and I'm sticking to it! lmao! BTW, this all comes about slowly and the sharing of birthdates and favorite colors (colours) etc.

The other comment I have is in respect to expensive gifts, furs, cars, etc. Get real! If they did receive any of those items, what would the tax man say? It's difficult to register a new corvette without the IRS (US) finding out! All it takes is a jealous SP or a disgruntled client to squeal - just dial IRS ...

I certainly do adore the ladies ... especially those who say YES!

If you want an idea of how f***ed up the gift-giving thing can get with SP's, look no further than.........Nick Lysyk.

Token gifts are okay, provided they are tasteful, thoughtful, and elegant. Anything over and above that seems excessive to me.

For the most part, I think they are tacky, greedy, in poor taste, and arrogant sounding. Sometimes, it can tell enough about the personality of said SP that I will never recommend her to anybody. I won't mention names, but I've seen some where some ladies will consider items in trade, but makes a mention that the price must ALWAYS be in her favour by a lot. To me, they are already charging 200+ for a situation in which they may also feel pleasure, and I guess it's an ego trip for them to get bonus gifts out of suckers. I've talked to an SP friend of mine about this (we have a chat every 2 weeks about the "state of affairs" in the business) and we debate various topics. She thinks that a lot of girls are in this business for the ego trip it gives them. They come from situations where they have high powered bosses making tons of money in a male dominated workforce. They feel that no matter how hard they work, no matter how smart they are, etc. they will not be given the same opportunity as an equivalent male. But now, these same high powered bosses are paying THEM 4 times as much or more to have sex with them, and it's like their revenge, their levelling of the playing field, and it does wonders for their psyche.

I'm totally with HFS, hitrack, and mustangjoe on this one. The gifts pages reek of greed and goldigging. I think there is a place for inexpensive thoughtful gifts for somebody you may also consider a friend in addition to your SP. Expensive gifts for SP's are just downright silly unless she's your SO.

By the way, the weather was cold and the SP I saw had a bit of cold, which is why I bought the hot chocolate on the way there... so actually, it was a thoughtful and much appreciated yet inexpensive gift. It resulted in a better session so it more than payed for itself.

I was thinking about buying a little gift for this regular that I see frequently. Some of the previous posters made some valid points, expensive gifts could complicate things and the money could probably be better spent else where. On the other hand, many of the sessions that I have had with this regular, turned into ultra long ones(sleep overs). So, as a way of saying thanks I was thinking about sending some sexy lingerie as a gift next time i see her(hehe, its more like a gift to myself).

I need some help on how to buy lingerie as a gift though. Should I just purchase the size she advertise, or should I make my own "estimation" ?

*This is out of the topic, but what is "ATF"?

If you don't mind shopping on-line for lingerie you can have a lot of fun with this site.

http://www.missbehavn.com/

The store is in toronto, but their on-line shop is run out of Florida. I've ordered in the past and had no troubles with delivery, customs, whatever. The prices are pretty reasonable and they have a good selection. EVerything delivered in a discrete brown package with no markings that would indicate it has naughty things for ladies inside. So you can actually have it delivered direct to your office. Moreover, many of the items come in sizes Small, Medium and large, and lots of others are one size fits all. So ... for us size challenged males its a dream.

For special occasions such as Christmas or birthdays, I have bought wine, lingerie and chocolates as gifts to my favorite local MP gals. A couple of Christmases ago, one of them even reciprocated and bought me a bottle of whiskey. Whenever I've seen an independent SP, I've always brought a bottle of wine or champagne. But that's not really a gift because it's for our consumption during our session. These things are neither cheap nor insanely expensive...I'd say about $40-50 per item.

Other than that, I don't buy gifts for SPs and they shouldn't expect one from me. Nor should these gifts determine the level of service you receive from the SP.

Definately go with a gift certificate for lingerie

Sizes vary so much between companies and brands, and change even within themselves, that it is very unlikely you will luck out with a proper fit, or even a style she likes. Unless you are okay with her wearing the outfit soley for you on the day you bring it (and likely never again), I would suggest that you don't pick it out, but give her the choice via gift certificate. You may also want to find out if a lingerie certificate is something she would even like to receive (she may already have more than enough gift certificates to last her a lifetime).

I personally would suggest getting her something that shows you know and understand who she is. Lingerie, chocolates, flowers, wine are all very generic. They are appreicated, but they don't show much thought.

Get her something that is unique to her. Something that reflects her personality. That doesn't mean it needs to be expensive. I thought the hot chocolate idea, given the circumstances, was very thoughtful.

You can always go shopping with her for the lingerie ... which would make for a fun outing. Or do it online together. I've shopped online while chatting over messenger ... both of us finding things we liked and comparing notes.

Also ... i've never met a woman that doesn't like nice jewelry. But in part that depends on whether you like shopping for jewelry or not. I actually really enjoy it so its no burden.

Don't care for the idea about giving lingerie gift certificates. Often the intent is for her to put it on immediately for the session. Sure, you can say she can wear it for the next session, but one cannot assume that there will be a next session. Shit happens.

I haven't read every post here, but I wanted to add a few more things.

My opinion is that the SP should just post something on her website about what she likes in her bio. Any client with a half a brain that feels the need to buy her a gift for whatever reason (either first time, birthday, holiday, good previous session, because he's seen her 10 times, etc. etc.) will be able to get her a good gift based on what she likes or what he has learned she likes based on past sessions. There is no need on the part of the SP to outwardly say "Ok, here are the gifts you can give me." That, most of the time, makes her come across as a gold digging money grubbing whore. I say most of the time, because even though I haven't read it, Jodie and HFS think the link to one SP's gift section is tastefully done.
