i know that some rare times an SP can become a friend, where you actually go out and do non-work-related things... and you know her real name... and so on...

here's my question. have any of you been in the reverse situation? where you have a female acquaintance (who doesn't know about your hobby) and one day she opens up to you and tells you she's an SP? not solicitiously (if that's a word... hafta ask the board's wordsmith), but just sorta sharing this part of her life with you.

or even more interestingly, you go see a new SP and you know/recognize her from the "other" world?

(is where i should be posting q's like this?)

I'm still waiting for that day when one of my friends from my "other" life comes walking through my door. What would you guys do if the SP you went to see ended up being someone you knew personally?

if it was a friend, then i think we would not go through with anything but talk about it then or afterwards.

if it was some lil hawtie who sells coffee downtown, about whom i've been fantasizing for weeks... well... heh heh... :D

Worse yet she was a friend’s girlfriend and he did not know. … Yes we did do it … and yes I told him.

Swguy beat me to it.

I don't think I would go thru with the session with any of my single female friends I have today. But some of my buddies' wives I would definitely do. Not that they are particular attractive, but more of being attached to my buddies. Maybe it has to do with the fact that the chance of bedding them is less than zero makes me want to do even more.

breaking an SP's confidentiality

If it was someone I knew beforehand , probably wouldn't go through the session but I certainly wouldn't break that sp's confidentiality to anyone else, boyfriend included, even if I knew him..not my place to start imposing some sense of morality all of a sudden, especially given the circumstances and what it was I was there for in the first place!...seems kind of hypocritical to me..just my 2 cents.

wouldn't really matter what the reason

no offense...wouldn't really matter what the reason...all sp's are human beings and have a life outside the business and it shouldn't matter if we happen to know them or not...if we start breaking thier confidentiality what's to stop them from breaking ours..everyone has reasons for what they have to do in life..just think we shouldn't be judging them..imagine the shoe on the other foot.. confidentiality is a big part of participating in this hobby for both the pooner and the sp...that should be respected no matter what... IMHO

How about a friends HOT DAUGHTER ???? bwhahahaha - sorry, wishfull thinking

-----------------------------------------------------------------

Back in college, I had a housemate for a couple months that was a real 'wild-child'..... she would walk around the house topless, and when she brought someone home we could all hear it (screamer).

10 years or so later, I go to an Indi for the first time and when the door opens ...... holy crap, I'm pretty sure its her. But after 10 years, who can by 100%, I didn't think she recognized me anyway ..... so I go ahead and do the deed.

This girl is a screamer ... and at the 'climatic' moment, she calls out my "real" name .... not the "pooning" name I had given her !

We never talked about it, and I never went to see her again, but its a great memory ...

I figure it's all in one word: karma. What goes around comes around. Just like VanIslandGuy, there's a few women I know that I have a gut feeling of being SPs considering they don't have full employment & they drive nice vehicles. Nice women though...I've never asked them outright if they are...who knows...one day I might walk in the door & boom...there one of them is...

I have to agree with Chuck 1561. If I knew the individual as part of another family, I would gracefully bow out and later discuss the matter to clarify the situation. People should not feel beholden to one another. A bit old fashioned, perhaps.

the more i think of this topic, the more i realize it comes down to chemistry (101!?). if you and the chick have always hit it off then maybe it isn't such a big deal to take it a step further; whereas if you're merely acquaintances, then it would be sort of awkward... and it's her call too as much as it's yours...

As for telling the gals hubbie if you know him..lose lose situation. If he's knows about it, he'll think yer a dick. And if he doesn't know about it, he'll think yer a dick (bearer of bad tidings...).

If I ever walked in and the SP was someone I knew outside, I'd like to think we'd laugh since we both just outed ourselves. Probably not go through with anything since it would probably be too messy emotionally... but there is always a chance..

We all have our little secrets...

now you see in my humble oppinion, i don't really believe that men and women can be just friends. i will expalin why. if you have one of the parties that is not attractive, then there is the possibility of being friends, but for almost every other case, the man just wants to bang the chick. men will hang around and pretend to be interested in what a women friend is saying, but in the end the truth is he just wants to see her naked. men and women are designed differently. women think men are just friends, and unfortunately that is not the case. i have seen alot of my friends go through this with ex girlfriends who just want to be friends. my buddies hang around hoping she will change her mind and decide to have sex with him, when in fact she has saddled up the next horse. i don't want anyone to take offence to my thoughts, but i do believe them to be quite accurate if people are honest with themselves.

I agree with you everydayjoe. Not only does it take balls of steel to be an SPs boyfriend, but it also takes balls of steel to just be the friend of a gorgeous woman. There's always guys out there that'll stare at your gorgeous friend/girlfriend. Some people can hide it better than others in this respect. There's always the thought of "hmmmm, how I'd like to get in bed with her..." (assuming the two of you are just friends), but it all depends on how far you'd like to go with it.
Personally myself, I'm getting better with getting used to it & try to tune it out.

Monogamy is for the dodo's (literally)

Everydayjoe, that's my belief exactly! I don't have straight male friends because I can never tell if they are truly interested in me or just my hoo-hoo. But luckily there are tons of funny charming gay guys who love to have women friends. The best part is I can sit on their lap, bounce up and down and they never even try to look down my shirt. That's what I'm looking for after a busy days work- to not be the center of male attention yet still have male companionship. So I just assume that if a straight guy wants to hang out, than he's interested in me. Easy as pie!

My theory on men and women is that men are not monagamous creatures by nature and women are, only because of procreation and the need for protection after the sex. After 45 we turn into cougars. Women should not be so posessive and upset when a male wanders cuz it's their nature!! Who is strong enough to alter evolution? Noone!! I'm not saying men (or women) can't be monogamous if they want to be but the urge is still there and women can be so annoyingly unrealistic at times that I bet a lot of men are driven to it. Who wants to stay with the same person for the rest of their only life anyway? That sounds so boring! If I ever get married it will be to a swinger!

Married untill death do you part thing was a social construct of the middle ages when most men died in wars or overwork by age 40 and most women died sooner or later in childbirth. The death part was pretty easy to come by. Recent generations are beginning to reject this idea. Now if we don't come up with an equitable way to provide for offspring, marriage will be extinct very shortly, as far as men are concerned anyway.
