Hmm, the first site wanted to run multiple .exe files. No way I'm gonna run an exe file from any porn site, the chance of it installing something nasty is too high.

:) You may have a point.

On the other hand, I have had personal computers for 20 years now, and have managed never to acquire a virus or anything of the sort the entire time.

And I've never had antivirus software on my computer. I keep my computer safe by being careful which programs I execute, and where I download programs from. An .exe file from a porn site is as unsafe as you can possibly get.

viruses

I thought everyone gets viruses. I was surprised to discover that they don't even have to be on an executeable file. Even the odd word document could have a virus.

Yes of course you are correct Chris - but I thats why I specifically wrote "technophile". For technophiles, a firewall, anti-virus, popup killer, spyware remover and spam killers are standard fare

Its common for many adult or online gambling sites to employ behavioral marketing techniques to trap viewers into signing up.

But after all that...dig the tits on the cartoon chick!

The only way not to have viruses on your computer ever is.........

Oh God i don't even want to think about it. How bloody boring not to cruise the internet at will, and enjoying all its fruits...and tits.

Chris222 thats why we have all this protect software so we can view what we wish without fear of contaminating our computer. There is no way that sites posted above are going to contain viruses, they are after your money not messing with your computer, and if they do then you can say that searching CNN's website or any legit site will contaminate your computer too. Possible but the odds are in are favour i think. Cheers --- Kev

I'm something of a hardcore computer gamer, sometimes. In order to get the latest and best computer games to run as well as possible, you need to keep extraneous programs from clogging up your memory and cpu.

And all that protection software would want to be running all the time, which I tend to dislike for a number of reasons.

But I guess I'm missing out on some quality porn :)

Ya VM all that. Whats the point of having internet if you don't use it. Granted it could/does creat problems, but if you take the neccassary precautions, any problems should be minimal, and easly fixed with the appropriate software.

BUT to each there own. --- Kev
