I do believe the mod on here picks up on them from the IP adress
Is there a rule against people using multiple nicknames on PERB?
Just curious....those of you doing it know what I am talking about.

And I am not here to rile feathers. I speak my mind, and speak the truth. Some people don't like reality.
Of course you cannot prove multiple nicks unless you have access to board logs or server logs.
But, when someone post with the same punctuation, mannerisms as others then it isn't hard to put 2+2 together.
It doesn't really bother me. Just surprised at how many people here buy the bullshit.

i think someone needs to get their head out of their ass. i think everyone is sick of the conspiracy theories. why do you think WEBGUY has more than one handle. like he needs one. he well-known on the board. i think you just need to leave stupid shit alone. sometimes things are better left unsaid.

I dont see why anyone would want multiple handels, its better to have one and stick with it as it builds up recognition in the community and gives your reviews more clout.

I guess if you have multiple handles, you can have different personas for each one and if one (or more) gets banned, there are still a few in the back pocket.
Perb Posting Guideline #9 specifically states:
9. Multiple handles, except where specifically approved by PERB administration, are not permitted.
and I believe this results in permanent/lifetime banning - see the Perbatory list for examples.
