Howdy y'all. Just got back from my Yankee holiday where my 'ol American dialect crept back into my throat.... ughm. It may take me a few days to get rid the drawl.

Speaking of things in the throat.... I left off before vacation talking about the upsell for bare back, oral and otherwise, and wondered if anyone had any thoughts about what I said regarding "condom fatigue" and the misinformation about the "coctail cure-all" for HIV. Seems the perception of risk has gone down in spite of a clear resurgance of Syphilis and a sharp increase in Gonnorhea cases. Any thoughts????

With respect to bare-backing, I am aware that the practice of condom use is far more prevalant with escort and massage staff than in the general public... and the infection rate among young adults, likely all those cuties that haunt the clubs and bars every weekend looking for a new date, is the largest of any group. I am simply trying to start a discussion about what drives people in all walks of life to ignore the risks. The old stand-by arguments about sensitivity are still the common answers, but I think that the reasons run deeper than that. Just looking for other's ideas to consider... L.

There are two different areas of a man's penis that he derives pleasure from during sex. The Head and the Shaft. The shaft is sensitive to pressure and can be gratified by either a vagina or a mouth wether covered or not. IMHO, during a BJ I want to feel the suction on the head, which can't be felt wearing a condom. Wearing a condom during a BJ is nothing more than f**king a mouth.

big head vs. little head

I know I'm not the only SP that has heard a fella say "Aren't you going to pop a condom on?" as he prepares to do the wild thing... only to discover that I've popped it on and had been giving CBJ the whole time. Obviously the little head didn't have a clue and certainly didn't mind...

which of course validates the argument that the largest sex organ is the brain (and that it can be fooled).

Welcome back Lynne!

Hey Alex, you likely hit the nail on the little head (ouch). Escaping back to a more carefree time is indeed enticing. I have been guilty of forgoing the jimmie even when it was sitting on the nightstand for fear of jolting me back into the gruelling reality of responsible life while I was having so much fun in my fantasy.

But indeed, granny does know best and the main sex organ is the brain, for both women and men. I have been the recipient of great enthusiasm and technique, but my brain was too busy rehashing the stresses of the day to engage and the orgasm sadly eluded me. If my brain won't go, my body won't follow. I have also taught many women the condom in the mouth technique as a means to eroticise safer sex. There are ways to make condoms more sexy, it just takes creativity and comfort.

Hey DWB, there are some great advances in condom technology that are not yet available in Canada. Trojan and Lifestyles both make condoms whose head is twice the width as the shaft, giving more room to successfully create the suction you speak of and provide more friction as well. I am sure you are aware that oral herpes (cold sores) can be transmitted to the genitals and I am sure you wouldn't want your precious johnson infected with the herps. Just trying to keep you and yours healthy! Check out the website condomania.net to see some of the new options.

Here's to great sex!!!!

I will agree if you have to put on a condom this is one of the better ways, i can actually remember the first time someone used that technique on me..
