I heard from a reliable source that there was a ownership change at Nevada's and the new owner has already made changes to the décor. They made one of the rooms a theme room and plan on changing more, don't know the theme she wouldn't tell me. I told her that's great. but they need more girls that provide the same level of service as herself because guys wouldn't come back just for a theme room, supposedly there hiring more girls. Hopefully this is the change we were waiting for....time will tell.

Maybe Eric decided that with the new laws it was time to get out.That may be a very smart move on his part. If WPS decides to enforce the laws
that may be the last business you want to own. I'm not planning to ever go to there or EB unless the law changes - just looks like you're setting
yourself up for BIG trouble. I'll find other ways to enjoy this hobby

Not me. All my money's tied up in pork belly futures right now.
Not sure how they would have swung the deal given that my sources have always told me that city bylaws have pretty well made the sale and re-licensing of such establishments damn near impossible. But if they did get a deal done that's good news. Eric was slowly running the place into non-existence and given the current supply of MP's in this town it would have been a real downer for the guys who like the MP's. Hopefully it is someone who knows what they are doing.

I thought the city wasn't issuing or transferring ownership of licences for MP's anymore? If that's the case, then how is ownership changing? Are they just having new people run it and Eric still owning it and not being involved directly?
I could be wrong, but this thread reminded me of the issue of grandfathered licences and people not being able to open new establishments.

If Nevadas is owned by a company, then all they have to do is sell the controlling interest of shares, the company still owns Nevada, so ownership has not changed
The city still says they issue what are called Body Rub Parlour Licences. They are still conditional and the location must be in the Downtown area only and within 2 specific areas. I believe the grandfathered parts may be the locations such as Moonlight which now exist outside those areas which preexisted the zoning bylaw changes which is what governs them locally.

There certainly wouldn't be the need for police involvement if we are simply dealing with the closing of a business unless the cops busted/shut it down themselves.
Maybe this comes back to the whole licensing issue and how Eric may have screwed over the new owner.
While I can't see this happening if an attorney was involved, maybe he sold the business to some dummy not using a lawyer. They bought it without knowing that the massage/body rub license could not be transferred. Eric took the cash and ran. When the new owner opened up without a valid license, the cops swept in and bingo, bango, bongo shut it down.
Or maybe the girls got tired of his abuse, all got together, made up some story about Eric skipping town but actually killed him and the cops have just discovered the crime scene.
Can anyone elaborate as to which girls are x Nevada girls on BP.
