Why?
I have a comment. I was once in a position to use SW in Edmonton and Calgary - I look back on it as a big mistake. Lets face it - these girls are out in public, many are being coerced or pimped out, many are on drugs or have something that keeps them out of escort agencies or MPs. Perhaps the worst part is the VERY public aspect of this. Many johns use their cars for encounters, the girls stand outside in some residential neighborhoods and kids that are young see women on street corners and wonder.
I once picked up a girl in Edmonton that I was sure was a legit SW. I was very careful, circling the block, checking everything. I picked her up and went around the block, just then a cop pulled me over - I was about 20 and nearly crapped my pants! LOL The cop asked a few questions, convinced me not to do this again and let me go. Of all of us invovled it was the poor girl who was most upset at 'losing' some income. I tried once more several months later prior to learning that MPs in Edmonton and incalls in Calgary are much better.
As for the clients, the above posts are correct in that if there was a bust they generally go after the MP and not the client. In Edmonton, its the city that primarily 'lives off the avails' through the huge licensing fees of both the MPs and escorts - sort of an 'agreement' to live and let live as it is by far the lessor of two evils compared to SWs. Edmonton actually almost completely shut down the SW problem a while ago. Went from well over a 1000 known to police in the early 90's to just over a 100 a few years ago! Then a drug called Crystal Meth hit the streets in a big way here. Now SW is once again an issue.
If you don't mind losing your vehicle, losing your freedom (if convicted with a cc offense), having your license plate publicized or picking up women in public then you have nothing to lose I guess. For the rest of us, just go to a MP or call an agency, lets keep this hobby off the streets!
