I'm just setting yr nuckleheads' expectations right, this is the same team that tanked in Jan., has done well in Feb., they're peaking way too early...
Gotta love how hypocritical you are about it. Because they've been winning so much lately you're saying that they're peaking way too early. If they hadn't been winning so much, you'd be using it as evidence of how badly they suck. If they've been playing well, then they're peaking too early. If they've been playing average then they're not cup contenders. If they've been playing badly then they suck. Their on-ice performance really doesn't make any difference to you, one way or another you'll bash them.

Dude, this is f'king bang-on. Doesn't BJH remind you of that one guy at work who repeats the same shit over and over again and it makes no sense what-so-fucking-ever and all you can think about is badly you want to punch him in the face and just make it stop.

There's no reasoning with this asshat. You're right. He's got every argument covered...in his mind.

I think that tonight is more of a test for the Canucks than the Sharks game. A playoff team HAS to win these heavily favoured games. If you can't win against the Sharks then the Kings, then you're not going to win a series against the Sharks. The games against the bottom 6 teams will tell everything leading down the stretch.

On a side note, is Pyatt not the reincarnation of Dana Murzyn or what? He would even suck on the Atlanta Thrashers  At least Murzyn didn't need training wheels on his skates though :p

Some of you guys slay me. You'll defend the absolute indefensable. NOBODY can logically defend the way Door Mats is playing. Tonight's game against LA was perfect example. He gave away the puck constantly - three times in the first period alone, was always behind the play, missed glorious chances and took a penalty so stupid it would have an ordinary player benched. Oh, and that penalty led to yet another winning goal. By my count, that's four or five of his dumb penalties that resulted in winning goals for the opposition so far.
He's about a minus three and rarely backchecks.
Whjat a coups, Gillis. I wish a reporter would have the guts to ask him if he intends to give back any of the money considering the way he's played so far.

Oh yeah - the bad goals Luongo gives up every so often - another one tonight.

No kidding, eh? I didn't follow Mats any closer than most other players in the east, but was he known for his untimely penalties in Toronto, or did he save this special behaviour for the Canucks? Ditto on the Luongo glove misfire, that was a shame. I thought it was a pretty entertaining game though. Quick let in a soft one by Pyatt, so things balanced out there. The Sedins caused so many turnovers to keep the puck in the offensive zone. That seems to be so oftenly overlooked by some people here. Good comeback though :)

Dude, i'm only repeating myself b/c all you Nuckleheads/Bandwagons/Homers all keep on missing the point. It's understandable given the senseless, idiotic, illogical little minds inside you.

This isn't a great team; even half of you bandwagons can admit that they've exceeded your expectations; so what does that say then?

They're ranked 25th out of 30 teams on the power play. And I don't think their penalty kill was good as a few years ago.

Luongo's over-rated in THIS vancouver market, we've never had a goalie of his stature; he's good, I admit, great compared to Weeks, potvins, cloutiers, etc. but not proven in playoffs. Brodeur and Roy did much more at this point in his career.

you've got a "#1 centre" in Gutless Sundin, who did jack all for the Leafs in 14 seasons, whatever it is, that's too long of an excuse to say, "those were bad teams he played with".

And the Sedins, aaaah....non-playoff performers.

So I keep on listing the above, and you Homers keep on coming back for more...lol...bring it on, dudes...

The difference is, one is named Quik and the other is allegedly Luongo.

Luongo's over-rated in THIS vancouver market,...
Actually I think the west coast express line is what got everything going. Good line but so so goalie. While that was falling apart, Luongo came and gave the fans something new to cheer and hope for.

Disappointed in the loss last night but tough game. The Kings came harder than San Jose as expected. They're a fast young team and those first period goals gives them lots of confidence. If we got the first goal when Pyatt should've roofed that pass from Wellwood, would've been a different game.

I think the canucks response was good, more so cause the kings just wanted to make sure they got the win or at least a point, but too little too late. We weren't hard on the puck or wanting the puck as badly as the Kings.

Anaheim *should* be an easier game....

Even with the West Coast Line, those Swedish Sissies were on the 2nd line...and we still couldn't win...What a joke! Even I can admit that the Sisters are pretty good 2nd liners...what an over-rated team that missed the playoffs so much given that talent...
