Unlike the bandwagons here, I've been skeptical of this 11 wins in the last 13 games, most have been against weaker opponents. Do the research, it's not like they were dominating 5-2, 6-0, and beating teams like Chicago, Detroit...

Minnesota? Columbus? Struggling Canadiens? st. Louis, Tampa Bay, Ottawa? Suppose it's better than losing, lol

Of course, with such little, winning history and tradition in this franchise, which is virtually non-existent, I do understand why there are Knuckleheads and Bandwagons, and why I don't like them.

Should be a great playoff atmosphere!

I agree BJH. This will be a huge test for them. The A game will be needed. The Sharks are a great team. If the Canucks have any hope of getting out of the Western Conf, it goes through San Jose.
11 wins in 13 is not too bad. They might be peaking at the right time.
Calgary also looks good now since the trade deadline. Sutter made some good moves, I have to give him credit.
screw calgary, we can beat them. it's the sharks/hawks that we shld hold a higher comparison, and that John Garrett, who is probably the biggest homer of all (hear that HUbba?), he really makes ppl puke. he's so good at shoveling crap that he thinks the nucks can compete w/ the 4 teams???? i wonder what is he smoking.

as i've said all along, winning one game makes bandwagons do cartwheels. sure, we beat the hawks 7-3. but come playoff time, try winning 3 more of those in 6 nites at a much higher playoff intensity. And without the Sedin sissies too. remember, they won't be noticed much ;)

As for tonight, as long as they're close, like the 2-1 game in San jose, it'll be a good confidence builder.

Baa all 3 goals were lucky goals. The refs made horrible calls against the Sharks. Without Luongo they would have lost big time. And of course the Sedin sisters could only muster up 1 measly point.
Right Bjh

Which is exactly what he was hoping someone would say
Not a bad victory but the powerplay was 0-5, which will cost them in the playoffs.

Don't think Luongo was really tested til that glove save, but boys, it's not rocket science, he's not the reason why they won.

We'll see if he can pull a Brodeur or Roy in the playoffs, that's where it counts.

True, Hubby Bubby, one needs a hot goalie, & already Brodeur looks a heckuva a lot better despite coming off an injury for same amount of time.

We'll see; unlike you Nuckleheads, I've watched this game enough that this is only the regular season, li don't get excited over the little things; let's see the damage we'll in the playoffs, where it really counts, and i'm not holding my breath like the bandwagons.

FAIL.

Third goal was scored on the powerplay.

Which speaks volumes about the team playing in front of him.

lol 6 goals tonight against Brodeur.

And FYI, Luongo 12-1 in his last 13.

That's the lovely thing about Knucklehead bandwagons like you.

Are you saying that you'll take Luongo over Brodeur? Given what Marty's accomplished, and the fact that he let in 6 goals, oh yeah, EVERYONE in Vancouver would still love Bobby Lou, eh? :p

Yup, stupid canucklehead.

Of course you take Brodeur but that's just wishful thinking. Brodeur ain't going anywhere and he'll finish his career as a Devil. Knowing that, I'll gladly take Luongo especially the way he is playing right now.

Yup, stupid canucklehead.

BJH...you're starting to sound like a certain poster on here with the initials....LB. Luongo is on his way to being accomplished. Doesn't have the years and years of play like Brodeur has, yet. Devils are a good team, but they're playing in a weak Eastern conference. Brodeur was great....getting old now, slowing down, brittle, a bit of dementia from a too tight mask.

Seriously, I'm not a bandwagoner....I've stuck with them through even the Keenan years. The franchise isn't in trouble, the ownership is now solid, a smart GM, a coach that hasn't been tuned out and finally a strong centre...they're better defensively, offensively finally scoring, and Luongo is playing on his head when he needs to....not very often in the last 15 games has he need to.

San Jose looked slow, disorganized and the Boucher looked a bit shakey. Those goals that the Canucks scored were quality goals, and really the score ought to have been 4-1 if the ref didn't disallow that goal on a play the the ref believed that in his mind he was going to blow the whistle....

Anyway it was a good test, they stood up to it and got a good win.
