Being a web designer it pains me sometimes to look at some of the indy / agency webpages out there. I'm not sure whether the industry side offering adult oriented design is really that hapless or it's just because people have chosen to go about it on their own.

So let the nominations for the best and worst sp / agency web page begin

Gotta agree with you. One of the worst is
DEFINITELY wet-vancouver.
If I wanted to resize my web browser, I'd fuckin' do it myself.
I don't need their schlock website to do it for me.

A very well done site in my mind is http://www.ashialee.com/
Loads fast enough to not be a bother, like some flash sites.
Too bad about her fucked rates though.

Cluttered, ugly typeface / colour, generally low-quality photos - the more you drill down, the more muddled the backgrounds. Ugh.

It's a fun and sexy site, and the pics are HAWT. The magazine-style cover page and the roto-cam shots (albeit out-of-date) are innovative ideas.

Honorable mention:

Informative, up-to-date and has just the right amount of flash and simplicity. Loses a couple of points for prominently displaying an SP who is only in town 2 weeks a year.


Worst:

To me, the horrid 80's Euro-synth pop in the intro is enough for them to earn this one. The rest of the site looks hastily slapped together.

Dishonorable mention:

Whoever developed this site must be color-blind. Dark text on a dark background is not what I'd call a brilliant stroke of genius.

yeah. i never found anything wrong with the BBC site.

the models pictures are professional looking. the calendar is a nice touch. i never tried to make an appointment online but im sure that it works considering when i used the Contact feature, i got a response back within an hour.

i think the site is fine.

ive said it before and ill say it again, opinions are like assholes. everybody has one and they all stink.

Well, you didn't actually ask me, but I'll be a busybody anyway, and say that I find the animated intro quite tedious. It looks like somebody just learned how to do the animation, and is showing off.

Once I waited out the animation and got in, the site seemed just fine. Info is easy to find.

It's not the best I've seen but it's a site for escorts - but here's some of my thoughts.

I don't mind the flash intro - there is a skip button on the bottom for people who don't like it.

The splash screen is a little wordy, inpersonal and your intro is hard to find (its at the bottom - you have to scroll down to see it) - I mean we are guys - were only here for the girls, and we know most of the text on these sites is the same as everywhere else - we're visual creatures - I would say the less text on the splash page the better.

Make your intro shorter and more inviting.

The instructions on how to get there should be on a link on the top - "rates and how to find us" not your opener on your splash screen - sell me on coming to your place first (with your hot models) and stimulating my imagination - with friendly fun girls who know how to please - then make it easy for me to come visit you.

So

Make it easy for us guys to get where/what they want.

Here's the priority and in my mind how a good site would be laid out. (for escorts)

Every guy who comes to your web site comes to FIRST and foremost look at the girls. (the ones who work there) - with several pics

2) have some stats beside their pics / basic info
3) some "real" reviews on the ladies (not the standard industry mock ups that are mostly BS) - although I know for some new girls this can't be helped - but new girls can be "hyped" as new/fresh.
4) pricing "rates and how to find us" in a link.
5) and from there a phone number to book an appointment.

Everything else is filler and you have to decide if is important enough to have on the site or not.
