How can Craiglist, a commercial business, ensure that every ad they post is legitimate? Isn't it the police department's job to combat suspected crime? Why should honest escorts who are trying to run a business lose a forum for advertising just because some abuse? Next they will want to close down Perb, Terb etc. - why not isn't it roughly the same?

Yes prostitution is legal but no you can't advertise - right that makes alot of sense at least to out government.

If they ever close down the therapuetic section on cl. The girls will just move to the beauty section. This is more of a hassle on the RMT on the therapeutic section. Talked to this RMT and she said everyday she gets atleast 2 guys or more asking if they do full service or hj lol.

Almost all the ads have moved into the therapuetic section of services. This area has no age limit control that needs to be clicked onto to enter -- yep, this is a big improvement.

It is possible, but IMO unlikely. I guess the high profile and underage abuses related to CL
made it the target of many. So although it changes little to shut down certain sections,
it was the politicly correct thing to do to. The same does not apply to other advertisers.
