Remember how completely full of crap police in BC have been in misleading the media into falsely implying things like that in recent busts, and this sure smells like another example. The Calgary cop in the canoe.ca article is either lying or amazingly ignorant if he really does think bawdy houses are rare in Canadian cities. I left a more detailed rant on this in a post on https://merb.cc, after someone else pointed out the article.
There`s a lot of unfounded hysteria pushing cops to make it look like they`ve found something, even if they haven`t.

I 100% agree.. the cops have to make themselves look useful. The only way they can do it is to dress up a not so interesting story. I know human trafficking is all over the world, but I highly doubt that`s what`s happening in these Asian places as the girls are all over 20 and doing it for a quick buck.

I agree that the cops are likely sensationalizing this bust. It doesn't sound like the girls are stuck in Canada. One news article states that all the girls have legal immigration status.

Remember that sponsorship program the government had to bring srtrippers from romania and ukraine and other eastern european countries? that was abolished because the women who were over 20 in all cases were told they were being hired as one thing but then their passports were taken away and they were victims of human trafficking. Dont assume anything. i recently saw a CBC documentary in which the woman said the only reason she came to canada was because she didnt think this stuff happened in a country like Canada but obviously it does.

I've seen some of the girls passports in these so called trick pads.

They weren't forced to do anything IMO.

Kent is on Holidays

I talked to him just before x-mas.

Kent told me he was for a trip to Vancouver for about 10 days over the holidays and Tammy is taking a much needed break. I tried to get him to convince Sara to come back - he was going to talk to her when he is there.

My guess is you will see him advertizing again early in the new year.

Thats as much as I know.
