Ashley Madison fraud: why Biderman and his partners in crime are not prosecuted?

Canadian justice seems to be very selective: RCMP concentrate all their efforts on going after Ashley Madison hackers, but prefers to totally ignore the evidence 'provided' by those hackers. Ironically the criminal activity the hackers have revealed is way more 'criminal' than the hack itself. We are talking here about millions of people defrauded out of many millions of dollars globally.

Strangely Biderman is not even arrested or investigated. Why is that? Corruption? That's a fraud above $5K - somebody has to go to jail if there is still the rule of law in Canada. I suppose our law enforcement and legal system is way more corrupt than what we could imagine. It just doesn't make any sense that a guy who stole millions is still at large considering there is a concrete evidence against him.

Biderman is also guilty of a hate crime: he charged only men for his 'service', but not women - grossly illegal stuff as well.

P.S. Guess what? The fraud is still ongoing: https://www.ashleymadison.com

Apparently the methodology they used to reach those conclusions was flawed.

I believe it would require a user (or users) to come forward and want to press charges before they would take action OR perhaps it could be a civil suit (class action?). Due to the nature of the web site and the desire of 99% of the users to remain anonymous, do you really find it surprising that no one is going after them? Plus, having used and/or looked at various dating web sites myself over the years, you have to be pretty stupid to not understand that all the sites have "fembots" to some extent or another - the more "adult" oriented they are, the more robots...

There are already CIVIL lawsuits in place: http://news.nationalpost.com/news/w...-behalf-of-all-canadians-following-data-leaks

But what about a criminal investigation? There is no need for someone to become a witness of prosecution - thanks to the hack all the required proof of the criminal wrongdoing is publicly available. Since the criminal activity takes place in Canada, and the mastermind lives in Canada, why RCMP don't bother to investigate it? Millions of victims defrauded out of millions of dollars - not a big deal? It is irrelevant if other sites are using fembots or not - there are lots of internet sites involved in illegal activity, but they may be based offshore/on a virtual server/TOR thus making prosecution problematic, plus evidence may be insufficient. In case of Ashley Madison all these problems do not exist: RCMP have overwhelming evidence and the fraudulent establishment and all the culprits are based in Canada. And they are not even hiding! And they are still not indicted!

I can give you a possible reason why it is happening: all the victims are men, even worse - cheating men! Isn't it OK to steal from them? They deserved it! Ashley Madison started as a 'hate speech' site: they charged and defrauded males only thus creating free entertainment for women who obviously didn't take it seriously (it's 'free' anyway). And those who actually used it did so mostly for 'attention whoring'. Men were discriminated as a social group just for... being males... in Canada... OMG!!! Not prosecuting this kind of gender 'hate speech' sites has long become common place in Canada, but now our legal system has sunk to new lows - they refuse to prosecute the fraud of unprecedented scale just because all the victims are males! Just imagine if somehow victims were single moms, for example - Baiderman would likely be locked up already!

"Cheating" is a misnomer. It is biological imperative and destiny to spread seed, and enjoy life:p. It's going against nature to observe monogamy:doh:. Not understanding this, or attempting celibacy etc leads to crime and hurt. Believe it or not in oriental cultures women understand the concept of an "outside woman", and under the right conditions (doesn't bleed her finances) it is accepted. We in NA have some catching up to do in our thinking.
A recent study showed that the age of men who look best to women are around their own age, or slightly younger. The age of women who look best to men, no matter what their (men's) age, are consistently 20-22yr olds. :thumb:

I just find some humour in the situation.
I agree!
It is just desserts for those stupid guys who think there are thousands of horny beautiful women sitting around waiting for some loser to call from his mom's basement.
Why prosecute AM? People who paid got what they deserved.

Yup..Agriculture has a way of tying you down to a piece of land, an occupation ,and one woman.
Something that I've resisted on a yearly basis....Everyone around here wants me to marry their daughter.

There's a really good book on this subject. Sex at Dawn by Christopher Ryan and Cacilda Jetha. Multiple sexual partners was the norm when humans were hunter gatherers. Monogamy (or the illusion of it) came about with the advent of agriculture.

The book also explains why men only have one shot while women are multi-orgasmic.
That would not be correct. The original form of human sexuality would be similar to apes, where there is an alpha male who gets all of the women while the other males are kicked out or get nothing. The folks at Bountiful are closer to the natural form of human sexuality than the rest of us.

Why does everybody worry so much about their privacy? There's no privacy any more in the internet. Google knows everything about you. Most of the websites know something. You can't stay private in a public network.

(snip)I've been a promiscuous person since high school/college age but every time I've been in a monogamous relationship I've been 100% faithful. But in many of those relationships I ended up being cheated on. Plus after spending nearly a decade in this industry I've come to the conclusion men will be men.. biologically programmed explorers.(snip)
Every sub cell in my body is screaming at me to say "Yes Miss Tanya", however I must disagree with you on this (wow, that actually hurt!). To cheat or not to cheat is a conscious decision, not a biological imperative. In my past marriage we were both completely faithful to one another. Did I notice attractive women? Did she notice attractive men? Yes. We both had others express an interest in us at different times. But we both always came home and monogamized our brains out.

But there's a certain level of intimacy that can't be reached via casual sex...& I miss it :(
I'm so there with you on this though. Probably why I've practically retired.

I have yet to even meet a man who can genuinely handle me & the career path I've chosen..
Don't give up though. You could bump into him tomorrow.
