Any info on purchasing atv in the U.S.

Hi people, i want to purchase an atv, but the prices here in b.c. are way too high. A quad here listed for 13,000 goes for 8,600 in the states for the exact same one , and the dollar being on par would be an awesome savings. I contacted a dealer just across the border ,he says he can't sell me a new one he would be fined 10 grand if he got caught. Anyone have any experience or ideas?

First phone some othere dealers... There are lots coming across the boarder. Some USA dealers have address that they use for warranty and manufacture info. Your name and bill of sales will have your Canadian address etc. Tell him to register the unit and sell it as a "used" one... (used by some car dealers) lots of ways you just got to be a little creative. Plan A would be to phone other dealers... you will find some that will work with you.
