It is so great to see there is a civilized world were the game of hockey is still being played and the fans actually support their team.

Go Rockets and bring home the Stanley Cup.

Great hockey, I hope the increased media attention isn't too hard on these 17 to 20 year old "kids"

The score was 3-2

T'was a very good series, decided by a total of two goals. Given a break or two, it could easily have gone the other way.

This Giants fan is proud of his team, it was fun to be there along the way. Good luck to the Rockets, and all of the CMJHL teams still competing. To bad the Caretakers of the Stanley Cup can't see fit to present it to the Top Amateur Team in Canada, as it was originally intended. It would be cool to see it go to a Major Junoir team, even if only for a year.

Anyhow, to the true hockey fan, there never was a shortage of hockey......

I think a lot of people who went to see the Giants only went because of the lockout. It's like they all of a sudden discovered that there is another Vancouver team still playing hockey.
Too many people go to the games and talk while I'm trying to watch the game.
And too many boozers. Everytime some leaves they come back with a beer or two in each hand, passing them off to their buddies still standing while the game is going on.

A lot? True.

Most nights over the years have been in the 3500-5000 range in terms of attendance. I'd bet that the price / product combination wins over many of those who came "because of the lockout". It'll be interesting to see what happens.

I've been to literally hundreds of Canuck games over the years, and several dozen Giant's events over the four years since they started. I'd say that the beer issue is far less of a problem at the average Giant's game than it is at the average Canuck's game.

It is ashame that there are a couple of a$$hole$ that ruin it for the others.

I myself enjoy a beer or two at a game, but there are way too many drunks stirring up crap.

Then again, I was at the Cecil for lunch last week, and sure enough there were a couple of a$$hole$ there too ruining it for the others.

It seems to cross most entertainment venues.

If there was only some way to regulate the amount of beer they could drink.
