Just wondering, how's the dating/love life of an sp...do you think they will actually fall for a client?, or are they intersted in having a relationship while in this business?, or maybe they have a policcy of not dating clients and just meetin guys in a different way and never tell them what they do...what do you think?

You know what I think?

I think that this should be moved to the Lounge. That is what I think.

A number of SP's are married. How'd you like to be the hubby of an SP?

Hubby: "Hi, honey how was your day?"

SP: "Oh you know I really sucked at the office today."

If I said it once I said it a million times, my next girlfriend will have four criteria: 1) have a relatively normal 9-5 job, 2)have nothing to do with the track, 3)not know what a "big one" is, 4)not smoke.

Yah, yah you might think I'm looking for the virgin mary, but even the cigs were brutal being a non-smoker my self.

In my own imagination!!
Belongs in lounge!!

But since it is started. Of course some SP's have boyfreinds, husbands, lovers. I said it before these women are human right? Oh and I have been in three relationships that started out me being the cliente. Yes one of them still worked while we were an item. Yes it was difficult for me. We actually ended it cause she did not want to quit, even though we had plenty of money comming in to live off of. She claimed she liked the excitement and the game.

Miss me???

Yea okay so we have all established that this belongs in the lounge but when in Rome......
Yes I'm back after an allbeit brief hiatus and first things first I missed you people!!
Okay, you all know that I have a tendancy to get off topic but I will attempt to keep as close to the topic at hand as I can. From a female point of view, it is very difficult to maintain any sort of normal relationship with anyone as long as you are in the business. I have tried to lie to my b/f's but in the long run that is not fair to any parties that are involved. I always want to give them the option of an out if it makes them uncomfortable. Sometimes these guys can also get dilusions of grandure and think that they are some sort of pimp and that makes it even harder. There have been a few b/f's that I have had in the business but it is difficult. I don't want to lie but if the respect is not there then it kind of puts one in a Catch 22.
That can also be applied to any other relationships as well. Basically the only friends that I have are other SP's and trying to have a family life is a joke. Lies seem to run your exsistance.
However, I have always maintained that I like what I do, I have no regrets in the least and when I am good and ready perhaps my Prince Charming will ride up on his white stallion and take me away from all this.......after all, it woked for Julia Roberts didn't it????

Sheri, I wish one of my ex's read this because she would beg to differ on this. Unless you work this on a p/t basis, otherwise it is hard to expand your circle of friends other than ones who are also involved in this field. Just my 0.02! :D

Sometimes I do find that it can be a very lonely business but an exciting one too. What is a girl to do??? Like Julia I will eventually find My Richard Gere and perhaps he will look as good in a suit as Mr Gere does!!! Hee hee....

I am personally not into getting into an intimacy debate here but I find it hard to maintain relationships. Perhaps it is a personal choice and I am by nature a very discreet person and wish to keep that discresion though every facet of my life. My boyfriends have all had thier own personal problem with what I do and perhaps until someone comes along that I would be willing to go the distance with and respect his feelings no matter how they try to hide them, then I am happy being single.

That's very good for you Paige! :) Are you going to hang your lingerie up for good soon too?

First it was Jude, Tawny, and then Brooklyn.... hope you stay for a while. ;)

My 2 cents!!

As a man I have been in two long term relationships with girls who were sp's. The problem is if you meet as worker client it can be very conffusing. One girl I dated could not get it out of her head to stop charging me. Even though I gave her all the money and things she needed. She just did not know how to let go of that regular income. Eventually if i am honest I turned jealous even though at first I thought I could handle it. I don't regret either relationship although they had more challenges than a regular one.

my 2 cents...i find it difficult to date personally. i seem to be unable to find it in me to promise to give 110% to the relationship. i won't promise to give what i don't think i can, it's unfair. those who have tried are outside of this industry and state that it doesn't matter...it's only a job. however, i find most of their calls to me are only when they are in the "mood" maybe bc i'm relatively new i find it currently impossible to find a solution to this. it is lonely sometimes, on the other hand i have no responsibilities to anyone else, i can do as i choose. i'm always up front and honest with those that do try, i have mixed feelers as to whether anyone will ever accept what i have done. i find nothing wrong with my uninhibited sexuality expressed in the way i have chosen, with outside attitudes such as they are, i'm not sure a relationship will ever happen. azen

My work lingerie won't be put away any time soon.

Actually he is very understanding about my work and we haven't even had "the talk" about setting a retirement date or year. I'll even be bringing an outfit on my next Vancouver tour that he bought!
