Watched the NFL draft on ESPN, JaMarcus Russell of LSU to the Oakland Raiders was almost a sure thing, watching this guy in college, he can really throw the ball deep, the Miami Dolphins passing on Brady Quinn was a stupid call, and that might haunt them in future years. The Cleveland Browns getting two players in the first round was a good move especially since both Brady Quinn and Joe Thomas in my opinion were top 5 picks. I think Calvin Johnson will be the best player of this draft class.

maybe i wasn't paying attention but before the draft everyone was saying that brady quinn was top ten material for sure. after miami passed on him all these analysts were saying that, yeah, brady was not top ten material. where were these people before the draft?

The talk was for Brady Quinn to either go to #2 or #3, there was some bs report going on that the Oakland Raiders were trying to work out a contract with Quinn and make hime their #1 pick, but I think the Raiders always wanted Russell as their QB as Russell as a huge upside. after the Dolphins passed on Quinn the other teams drafting after were all set at the QB position and were not in need of another QB.

Well looks like JaMarcus Russell won't have Randy Moss to throw to anymore, Moss just got dealt to the New England Patriots for a 4th round pick, also Jackson got dealt by the Seahawks to the 49ers for a 4th round pick aswell.
