My trip was not cancelled. It was POSTPONED. Please show respect for different cultures. How is riding a camel any different from riding a horse? I would appreciate educated answers. Thanks.
Discretion is of utmost importance to me and I will not compromise it by posting pictures. My watch may have distinctive marks and posting it here would greatly dishonor my client. If someone here has real knowlege of diamond encrusted Rolexes, please post.
The diamond encrusted Rolex is not custom made and the diamonds on it are only a point each. There is no way that you can tell if the diamonds are real unless you look at them under magnification. The platinum band is worth more, as diamonds that small aren't worth much.

To me, the watch you have is a gaudy, blingy watch. Do not get an appraisal done until you find out if it is real or not, as appraisals are costly (not to mention the embarrassment if it is not real). Don't be disappointed if you have a knock off. The replicated Rolexes are being produced so well that it sometimes takes a good jeweler to tell the difference.

As many of you may recall, my trip to Dubai was postponed on account of my client's despondence over his prized camel contracting Blue Tongue.
?

I don't recall any camel thread recently, to be honest.

Guess this is what we call...

Now, to better assist me in empathising with anyone's despondence over camel blue tongue, I'm off to ebay to secure my handy copy of...

... all in the name of providing 'educated answers', of course.

Hello Highclasshottie,

You seem to me as someone educated and refined but I can understand some of the peoples attitudes suggesting you are a "look at me, look at me" kind of gal. I have stated before there is a wide variety of members here and we can almost always get insightful information on nearly any topic, but the question you pose is not likely to provide you any accurate answers and I suspect you know that already.

The watch probably is a specially made and unique piece making it impossible to value sight unseen. Even if it is from a line of designs the cut and clarity of the diamonds is sure to help determine it's cost. And if it is fake, which I doubt, the price would still need to be determined on inspection. An appraisal is needed and as another poster mentioned, necessary for insurance assessments.

You know what you have to do, and just as you understand the etiquette in accepting such a gift, I'm sure it is just as customary to wear it and demonstrate your appreciation. Good luck in your travels and congratulations in providing exceptional companionship to garner such a sincere gift of apology and gratitude. I appreciate your high standards of discretion, perhaps it should have been employed in this case as well.

it is too ostentatious for me and my high morals standards and ethics would grate on my conscience since I feel badly about owning blood diamonds. I am the sentimental sort so I will put it aside to admire the workmanship. I am not selling it since it would not be right but does anyone know it's appraisal value?
You could sell the watch and donate the proceeds to any of a multitude of charities that work in the Third World. Doctors without borders is one I would suggest.

Excuse me schizo, you obviously have no experience with other cultures and have no training in etiquette. My client would have been deeply offended had I not accepted the gift.

Material posessions do not make the man, or woman. For you to make such an assumption, you would have to believe people who have more than you are better than you. That's sad.
WOW! You sound like a complete stupid horse's ass! Grow up and get a life 'cause it don't last long and especially not if you're asking what the true value of a diamond Rolex watch is, on an SP review board of all places!

As an astute member alluded to above about the dangers of advertising expensive possessions, people have been tracked down and murdered for MUCH less.

If, on the other hand you only want to be a snob Classyhottie/CLM, go to bling.com but until then, and I'm not the only one who shares this sentiment, take your poodle, pussy and diamond and falk off back to dreamland, you dumbass!:p

OK, I'm going to go with the obvious answer: Different gaits and different temperament, but otherwise fairly similar.

Assuming it's real, I second rafterman's idea.

Sorry guys, if it was given to me and it was real? Fuck charity. Charity begins at home, and at my home it stays right there :p

Didn't you declare it when you went through customs?I'm sure without the proper documentation, said watch would have come under some scrutiny like proof of purchase, gift documents etc,,,,,,,,,did you have to pay import taxes?

Just wondering,as Canada Customs is always looking for new bling bling coming into the country, especially if your flying in from Dubai,SE Asia etc

I had a wonderful time except for the times I had to don a Burkini (http://www.ahiida.com/index.php?a=subcats&cat=20) in the hot tub. That's the first I've seen of it and out of respect for my client, I didn't argue.

Raises a question. Why would somebody pay, I presume thousands of dollars to bring a hooker to Dubai and have her put on a Burkini in the hot tub?

I am wondering if anyone here knows how much a diamond encrusted Rolex is.

Go to Brinkhaus Jewellers, they are probably the best around when it comes to Rolex watches.

Why??? Because she could complete a sentence? The fact she asked the question she did, might lead me to a different conclusion.
Well I don't know the woman but the way she writes and handles malicious attacks with tact and poise shows to me she does have class, maybe not as high as she would like to think, but class just the same. I'd be curious if she could still pull off sexy wearing the burkini, I guess if it comes with a glory hole it can't be all that bad.

Hubba, I'm surprised you haven't been able to help the poor dear with this. It sounds like the kind of present you would give to Granny or ITB.:D

I am familiar with that Rolex model as they are not that uncommon in the Emirate . Appraisal value would approximate 2 Dromedaries and 1 Bactrian camel, unneutered with all their teeth . Hope this helps.

She writes like someone trying to hard to create an image.
