Tiger rox...

...and I really don't care how much he does or does not make. People pay to view. It's supply and demand. Tiger is the best at what he does and he hasn't withered in the spotlight. Congratulations Tiger...he's the Gretzky of the golf world. We can all use role models.

He almost joined the 3 people who share the record for the least number of strokes on the final 9 holes at the US Open. He shot 30, the record is 29.

Second complete round of golf after knee surgery and he's in third place at the US Open. It was sad to watch Phil struggle in Tiger's group.

Tiger is pretty amazing. In fact in a recent Sports Illustrated he was called the Lorena Ochoa of men's golf.

As great as he is, she is equally great in her own sport and is a genuinely wonderful person. Rare among world class athletes.

Today it was all about the 13th Hole

Phil used 12 strokes
each time he tried to pitch it up the slope, it rolled back

Ernie Els had to pitch it up the slope twice

Rocco Mediate lost 3 strokes to the 13th Hole

Tiger Eagled. 50 foot putt with a 6 foot hook. Damn, and that's with a wonky knee.

Tiger just Birdied the 17th for a share of the lead. Beautiful pitch out of the rough, didn't even roll on the green, just dropped right in the hole. Damn, golfers dream about shots like that.

So, Tiger is in the lead and will play with Westwood in the final pair tomorrow.

Just another 35 foot putt on the 18th for Eagle, we all do that every day, don't we?

And he has a wonky knee that is obviously hurting him.
