A few of us are planning to meet for coffee this friday morning, April 4th at 10:00 am to discuss some of the issues we are currently facing in Winnipeg...this is an open invitation to any locals ladies who would like to join us...please note...this will not be an opportunity to air dirty laundry, point fingers or start catfights...after all we'll be in a public location and really don't want the proprietors to call LE... ;)

so, if you have constructive ideas, are willing to listen and communicate effectively and can work in a group - you are more than welcome to come!! Please pm or email me for the location and details...if we work together we may be able to bring about some positive changes!!

HUGE change of plans ladies. I am really sorry but we are going to have to move the meeting to my place.

Unfortuately the thermostat is broken and it is super hot in there. Please do not wear very much wouldn't want anyone to get heat stroke.

In case anyone needs a massage for this stressful time I might be able to help you out. I am known for my internal massages.

If you get hungry there well be some white pudding just requires some prep work on your part. Should be enough to last all night.

A little humour always takes the edge off a serious situation :) and I for one, appreciate it! That being said, I am yet to hear from too many of the ladies so I would like to say that if it is humour that is scaring you off, please don't allow that!! :D Come and join us...at worst, you'll meet some other working women...at best, we'll figure out a solution to our challenge!

Sorry it didn't go as planned Syd, but good for you in trying to do something. On a side note, interesting to see one of my old Prof's names in the paper you are citing...I always thought he might have a soft-side for this industry. I recall him making some comment about massage parlours (in his English accent it was quite distinctive and still stands out in my mind to this day) and how if an adult wishes to visit them, so be it. Course I smiled knowingly as I had already begun visiting places like EB and TO by this time in my life. :rolleyes:

Most of us are up for sharing, but not meeting. A lot of the names that I gathered were based on this assumption. Myself included. It has nothing to do with not wanting to help her or ourselves. I'm emailing/calling.

I'm getting ready for my exams and I need all the time I can get. Selfish me.

SD there really is nothing selfish about what you have done...you have been instrumental in getting some of us together to begin with...and for that I thank you!

That we do. Ladies, I have been talking to EC Chris and he has an SP only forum available for us to use that is private. You know where and what I'm talking about. So join up there so that we can have the same chat that Sydnee is talking about but in informal threads. LE doesn't have any access to this forum (insert a "HA HA" here :p ) and we can stay anonymous.

Kudos for setting this up SD...I've registered and now just waiting for confirmation...ladies...this is an excellent way to stay in the loop and to keep up to date on who is providing referals etc...

I already have a handle on there, just waiting for access to the SP board. I wanted to use it before, but it didn't seem like many local ladies were on there. Maybe all this crap will prove to be beneficial to the way we work together.

Chris has always been quick about it. Ladies can also refer other ladies to make the process go smoothly. The general info that you EC advertiser's supply to make any changes to your account is all that's needed.

This is an easy way to share information privately about what's going on here without a bunch of convoluted legal advice and pissing matches. If you ladies can't read the by law legislation yourself and make sense of it, get a lawyer.
