"Penis slashing" -- when women cut or sever a penis -- is so common in Thailand that surgeons there have actually become world-renowned specialists for penis-reattachment. According to a psychotherapist in Agence France-Presse clip above, Thailand's male-dominated society leaves wronged women few options to assert their rights, so for revenge, they hit men where it hurts. It's a bit difficult to understand what the surgeon is saying, because of his accent, but from what we gather it's this: After a woman cuts off a ween, she often buries it and covers it with sand. But sometimes she'll chop it into little pieces [Jesus Christ. -Ed.], in which case, doctors have to build a new one from scratch... for which they can't guarantee function

I wonder if there isn't something more going on here?,----- like they are really just finally saying, "I'm tired of riding this tiny little thing," and it is close to that time of the mth. when women lose their sanity , the knife is handy & off it comes.

I had nothing but fun with Thai Ladies and I didn't even pay.

I think if you were to study the culture in Thailand & the mindset of the average male there you will find that there is a serious case of inequality.

Women are seen as property & not individuals.

Just your typical third world country mentality.

By the way there is also a big problem with men from Canada & the US going there to have sex with little boys.

I would support a group that provides protection for these women & adolescents but there is so much Government corruption that the financial aid itself would be raped - by the men in Thialand's government.

There was a TV coverage on Thailand prostitution. It was so sad I couldn't watch it. Girls sold by their own heroin addict fathers dying of AIDS. Girls kept in small cave-like dirty holes without sufficient food having to serve the local men. They weren't allowed to sleep, they woke them up when a customer arrived. Simply horrible. I think this was in the Philippines. Shame on the Thai and Philippin goverment for letting this happen.

is that so

If a man were to slice up a woman's vagina, he'd be declared a dangerous offender and put away for life!
Female genital mutilation (FGM), often referred to as 'female circumcision', comprises all procedures involving partial or total removal of the external female genitalia or other injury to the female genital organs whether for cultural, religious or other non-therapeutic reasons.

In cultures where it is an accepted norm, female genital mutilation is practiced by followers of all religious beliefs as well as animists and non believers. FGM is usually performed by a traditional practitioner with crude instruments and without anaesthetic. Among the more affluent in society it may be performed in a health care facility by qualified health personnel. WHO is opposed to medicalization of all the types of female genital mutilation.

The age at which female genital mutilation is performed varies from area to area. It is performed on infants a few days old, female children and adolescents and, occasionally, on mature women.

Today, the number of girls and women who have been undergone female genital mutilation is estimated at between 100 and 140 million. It is estimated that each year, a further 2 million girls are at risk of undergoing FGM
