The memes are slightly interesting, although not factual. I doubt they change any minds at election time.

The compiled polls I've seen recently give the Liberals a 95% chance of winning a majority or minority, and the Conservatives a 5% chance of winning a minority.

On the question of preferred PM, Trudeau leads O'Toole 35% to 16%.

So perhaps Trudeau isn't as unpopular as some folks hope he is.

What does that have to do with Canada?
The Queen is the head of the church in Britian, she is the queen in Canada. Taxing any of the churches attached to the church of England, well the government would just have to pay....
Taxing a catholic church, the head of the catholic church is in Rome and Rome is considered a separate country, its like taxing a separate country.

What? I hope you know that is not how it actually works or how either institution is structured. Like the Queen doesn't receive a benefit from the donations collected by the Church of England, you know that right?

Not that the governments are likely to tax churches. Instead of people burning churches; the faithful will be burning government buildings....
But as the titular head of the Church of England, and the Head of the British government its like robbing Peter to pay Paul... Its like asking does the pope get a salary....

1. Back to the political bullshit. Its a given known that all government employees have to remain neutral during an election campaign. That means that they cannot publicly support any political idea for any party, while doing their jobs, or wearing their uniforms (RCMP/military). They are all neutral.
2. Sidenote: Ever watched a movie, where the protagonist is forced to deal with a order that is a lie or something that runs contrary to his/her belief or the status quo. Usually this order as portrayed by the director is seen as evil/insidious information being presented.
3. The Silent majority- silent until you piss them off.
4. So what has Trudeau sent down the ranks of government employees to gain in the next election. What policies are being enacted that impinge on government workers rights under the constitution that impinge on their "Right of Expression"? Are government workers being forced to say shit they don't believe in?
5.https://www.msn.com/en-ca/news/cana...-equity-laws/ar-AAMabi0?ocid=msedgdhp&pc=U531
New laws for the equity of employees- Means top performing "white" people are discriminated against in order to promote less worthy candidates or their promotion is delay by 5 or more years in order to look that businesses and government are all equal. If you are good at your job, and are better at it than others then you should get the promotion. In this case reverse discrimination is at work.
6. In government email addresses you now have to identify your sex. If there are no sexual barriers to what your position is, why do you have to tell everyone what your sex is? The reality in order to please the minority, you are pissing off the majority.

Why I won't be voting Liberal next election. The insidious Liberals are preaching too much political correctness. They have spent too much taxpayer money to keep the banks afloat in covid. eg. Money payments to the unworking citizens who wouldn't of been able to pay the rent/mortgage. The results are that the banks keeps making money. Just like a church preaching about sin and asking for a 10% donnation of your yearly income.

What the millennials and Gen whatever need to realize is that Trudeau shovelling money off the back of a truck is something they will pay for. The 1% have profited more from Trudeau’s economic policies than anyone

Harper and Mulroney ran up $600 billion of debt. Will we have to pay for that too?

Conservatives are really great at talking about balancing budgets. They just never actually do it.

I seem to recall Chretien getting the same moniker but I think his transition was a bit longer.
It's probably a good translation for most politicians who have been there longer than a few years. Very common affliction.

Same stupid parties = same stupid memes.
Amazing how unoriginal some people are. On the bright side: at least they can keep the same bumper stickers on their cars.

Not looking forward to this unwanted-but-coming-anyway election. Even my usual go-to vote-getters have blown a gasket this time. Lame.

If UNIFOR's want to bring the heat to 'em, I won't complain. O'Tootle's not going to renounce the deranged party base. His whole strategy's trying to make other Canadians forget that base exists. UNIFOR is just reminding people of it, that Harperism and even Trumpism have never been renounced by Team Blue.

Kenney is a stupid asshole, plunging his province into the shitter. What is it about the voters there, wanting their politicians to remain firmly anti-reality until the day they die? Well, now that day has come, and they've discovered they're not enjoying it. Typical.

Not that I expect the others to be saviors.

The unrepentant morons, versus the self-absorbed glitterati, versus the insufferable care bears, versus the self-sabotaging martyrs. That's this election.
