This happened this morning. I noticed a man loitering near the elevator as I exited to head to the room. I took a quick glance but did not notice any eye contact from him. After my session, when I exited the door to head to the furthest elevator, the same man took 2 pictures of me , then left using the closest elevator. I try not to worry, but I'm. Should I be concerned? Are there any precautions I should take? I have been to this incall 15+ times. I notified the booker immediately. They said it was probably nothing, but stressed not to mention it ( I assume review)

Sounds like a private investigator. If you keep your nose clean otherwise, then it's probably a suspicious spouse collecting evidence.

possibly a complaint from neighbors due to traffic (moans)? maybe that's the strata manager? just guessing
If it’s a high traffic unit I wouldn’t be surprised if it’s a disgruntled neighbour collecting data for a complaint to the strata council.
Elsi’s explanation also makes sense but you’d know if you had something to worry about with your relationship with a SO.
I wouldn’t lose any sleep over it.
Buildings tend to have buzzers, right? If this one did... the guy was there ahead of him, so how'd he get in? He was likely staking out the apartment not Ballhawk. There was talk of people staking out other incalls, recording licence plates etc. to shame the clientele.
The tricky part for an investigator would be to get there in advance. How would he know where/when the appointment is scheduled? Unless they have access to communications, in which case it's too late to worry.
A neighbour, could be. There was a court decision the owner of a Burnaby condo must stop using it as a brothel after neighbours' complaints.
A strata manager himself, less likely. They could get a complaint, but they should know better than taking photos. There are privacy laws, and the photos don't prove anything unlawful anyway.
I had that happen to me years ago.....I was with the young lady at the time, and the flash blinded both of us.
There were two young males, that gave up the camera immediately when they looked up at my rather pissed off face, as I held them both by the scruff of their pencil necks, they had jogged down a dead end alley.
This was the days before digital cameras, so I stripped the film from the camera, exposing the undeveloped negatives.
Turns out they were just two young wanna-be cops, doing their civil duty for the neighbourhood....and getting their jollies by taking pictures of questionable circumstances.
When I let them go....I've never seen two young guys run that fast ,unless a bear was chasing them.
Not really. BC Privacy Act is more restrictive than that. It is illegal to violate somebody's privacy when privacy is reasonably expected. It may take a court to rule on it. There is a higher expectation of privacy in a private area like the OP described (enclosed area, restricted access).
My point was, a nosy neighbor could try to use the photos - post them on a wall or on a website, etc. But a property manager should know better, as both he and his company can get sued if he tries to use the photos. It's not something he should be taking chances on.
Tailing the husband, tracking movements, taking note of un-usual activity and destinations. Maybe he knows about the appointment because the husband doesn't know how to clear browser history or use "incognito" mode on the family computer.
Wife hires a PI to because of the "long hours he works, and sometimes reeks of perfume when he returns", PI sees the husband leave work on time, but drives an hour out of the way for a hotel rendezvous. Then start snapping photos for the evidence.
Whip out your phone and start taking their picture in return.
My guess is they quickly freak out and run away scared. Why, because the actions mentioned are those of a scared, petty, little coward, who wants to play super hero and bully.
Thing about a bully is they count on no one standing up to them. They are the most insecure cry babies of any group if you don't play into their games scenario as they expect you to. Don't try and hide, walk fast directly at them snapping pictures, and watch them piss their pants as they run away. All bullies are only as tough as YOU allow them to be.

If he was a professional P.I., I doubt he'd line himself up to be identified ,by taking a single picture.

If it was a P.I. you wouldn't have made him. At least not a half decent P.I. , maybe a rookie on his first day who only bills out at $40/hr. But even just a half decent P.I. you wouldn't have a clue you're being photographed.

Absolutely it's a neighbour. Typical tactic.
Except for being photo'd, I've been in this situation several times with "loiterers" in and around elevators and in hallways etc.
Just gave them a straight look in the eye and a "How's your day going? Mine's going EXCELLENT!" They always pretty much ignore me then, look away or otherwise don't engage.
Sometimes when I'm coming in and approach someone who looks like they've just wrapped up- or I'm leaving and see the potential next prospective client- I'll drop a subtle "PERB?" on the way by. I've gotten a few turnarounds doing this- it's fun.
