When I worked in the 80s business began during the lunch hour and pretty much fizzled out after 11pm. Clients were primarily business men traveling from out of town, and location was 90% downtown hotels.
When I returned in the 90s the business did not really boom until 4am-7am...I called it the witching hour(s) and the clients at that time of the day were coke heads looking for company. Clients were generally locals and the distance to travel had increased (donations had decreased)
There were still business men during the regular hours but, by far, fewer.
The women working in agencies had changed as well.

There's a difference between (1) independent SPs who post during the wee hours of the night; (2) non-independent SPs whose manager posts on their behalf during the wee hours; and (3) SPs who post 24-hr availability during non-wee hours.
I think erotic services should be seen as a 24-hr business. There's clearly a modest but perhaps non-negligible demand after midnight (I know I often feel sleepless, hot and bothered at 3 AM, and wouldn't mind looking for a little nookie if easily available).
So I'm not in favour of showing prejudice toward SPs who are available after midnight, whether they advertise at this time or not. It should of course be totally up to individual SPs to choose their schedule, just as they choose their menu.
Some of Maggie's less popular girls are advertised as available 24 hrs. I know for a fact they're not druggies.
I've been told by one of them she doesn't mind—though I'm not sure how busy an "after-midnight girl" gets. I imagine service quality tends to drop off in the wee hours, though I've not yet personally tested this.
There must be "wee-hour" pooners out there with some good stories.

No, not all late night sp's are druggies. As always, in my opinion if you are unsure about the girl simply do your research. Make sure she comes from somewhere reputable or check if she is reviewed. She may be awake for other reasons or only have that time available to offer. Sometimes being available in the latenight can be busier then the day for girls in this industry, so do your research and protect your interest. Some red flags; If a girl is swerving on the phone, her ads are urgent or running a super special, using terms like "Rock and roll" or "party Hard".. Beware!
