Have to agree, it blows my mind how common it is for people to have their phones in their room when they are sleeping. We never allowed our son to have his in his room at night, but he's 18 now and can't walk without texting. He gets texts from his friends all night long...it appears most teens don't sleep much at night as they are too addicted to their phones to be able to put them down!
For me the biggest PISS OFF is at the poker table....when some self absorbed ASSHOLE has been told 3 times by the dealer that the action is on him and he is facing a RAISE of say $50 and then I have to loudly say....PAY ATTENTION TO THE GAME AND NOT YOUR FUCKING PHONE and then the ASSHOLE calls time out of spite and then FOLDS as the clock runs out.
For me it is an occupational thing.I am a courier and to me TIME is something you CANT buy not for love or money. You cant BUY time and I sure as hell resent anybody WASTING my time be it for getting a cup of tea or buying groceries at Safeway....my mindset it keep it wired tight and be organized at all times so as to be considerate to ALL other people you deal with with regards to EVERYTHING.
Are you leaving a building/office....keep in mind and know your surroundings and HOLD that door for the person behind you by 4 paces.....so on and so forth.....dont walk across a street like you have a piano tied to your ass whilst your texting on your fucking I Phone.....to be blunt.....think of SOCIETY in general in the grand scheme of things instead of your tiny snowflake SAFE space.....back around 40 years ago it was called "decent manners" which my British father (RIP) brained into me starting at the age of when I could speak and walk....not as a way of feeling superiour...as a way of making everybody else I encountered as comfortable as possible.
I truly wish a HUGE proportion of society had gotten the decency that my dear ol Dad brained into me....if it were the case.....the world would be a better place.
