"Flip" Wilson thinks his name is being sullied by being fired and shown to have accomplished nothing over four years as third-string LNG pimp. (Clark and Coleman were 1 & 2).

I wasn't aware he had a reputation other than as a philandering, political opportunist who'd sell his soul to the highest bidder if he thought he could make some money off it.

And to think, some people believe prostitutes have a bad name.

Well, Wilson was already feeling sensitive because his little boy failed to win a seat in the legislature in the recent election. It wasn't even a close contest. Spare a thought for poor Gordon, undergoing such a sequence of emotional traumas.

His name is Flip Flop Fizzle Wilson.

But his wife's still hot.
Hot?
Maybe you could make that argument when Gordo was fucking her on the side back in the 90s. Or was JT fucking HIM behind hubby's back?
Now- IMO- she's just an attractive middle aged mommy.
And Gordo is still the same self-serving douche-bag.
Now that his name is "conveniently" resurrected, can a new PDA be far behind?
The landscape seems ripe.....

He was paid over $500k and not one written report produced the whole time? Where do I sign up for that gig?

I'd say that's fraud either on his part or the Liberals for turning a blind eye to the problem.

Bogus consultant gigs are a common way for politicians to reward each other, happens in all parties.

Nice framed thermostat, looks classy.

I don't know where that photo was taken, but if it was inside a government building, that frame most likely cost us a few hundred dollars.

Hmmm. Maybe I can turn my used food containers into a profit centre, instead of just taking them to the re-cycler.

Who frames a thermostat?
I've worked in offices where people would get into fights over the temperature to set the thermostat. They would sneak around re-setting it to their personal preference. In the photo it looks like more of a cover than a frame. Maybe it's purpose it to prevent people from messing around with the temperature setting.

Which leads to the next question - who can't defeat a cover that consists of the top off a plastic spinach container?

You are exactly correct- the cover is there to prevent "workers" from fucking with the HVAC controls. It is generally spec'd within the Mechanical contract- a very typical practice.
The cover is actually quite sturdy- high impact poly-carbonate- but anything can be broken into if someone has the desire. It is there only as a deterrent.
Most people won't mess with it- instead they just bitch to building maintenance.

He's threateneing to sue the Premier & MLA Bruce Ralston.

Not sure he has a case. First - just what is his reputation? Not good, I'd venture.

Second - They said they couldn't find any records, not that he didn't do anything. If he shows records, they just have to say they hadn't seen them. Now they know. Case closed. No damages.

Third - Does he really want his record of service to the province exposed? Will Christy be called to testify?

Actually it turns out that Gordon Wilson wrote a lot of reports. It also turns out that the NDP had all of reports because they had filed a FOI request. http://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/briti...-advocate-gordon-wilson-did-no-work-1.4238566

Yeah, the NDP played this pretty stupidly. Just let Wilson slink back to obscurity without trying to humiliate him in public.

Maybe this will be a good lesson to behave better.

Did Clark ever publically apologize for accusing the NDP of hacking? Did she ever apologize to the sister of the guy who committed suicide after being wrongly fired?

Reported by Keith Baldrey on Global

Interesting to note over 100 of the Liberal appointees lost their jobs and the only one they 'defamed' was Gordon Wilson. Sounds like he has a pretty good case considering he wants to work in LNG moving forward.

Wilson was an NDP Cabinet Minister while Horgan was on staff with the past NDP Govt.
