After the vote last night, it's now down to Jim Dinning, Ted Morton and Ed Stelmach.

It seems to be quite a regional split there: Dinning representing the south, Morton for the Bible Belt, and Stelmach for the north.

Time for a move north.

Let’s see. Dinning doesn’t want someone who looks back. I guess that is because they would see how he destroyed up health care and education when he was treasurer. Morton wants the right wing social conservative reformers making him Alberta’s answer to George Bush. To me that only leaves Stelmack. A sad commentary on the Alberta Conservative party. If any of the opposition parties can get their act together we may finally have a change in government. At least Klein is back in the St. Louis where he should round out his days

Stelmach of course... The guy is the only one there for the right reasons - he doesn't brag, gets the job done and moves on. I've never heard anyone say anything bad about him (other than for what some call a certain lack of charisma - read "he is not a camera buffon or cheerleader" - in my book that's a good thing...) He gets my vote.

That and if Stelmach gets in - Taft and the rest of the Liberals (read: Caviar Communists) will never have a chance to get in for decades...

exactly how did he destroy our health care?

there were some very difficult decisions that needed to be made and that included a dramatic shift in how and what services and programs were funded, once those changes were implemented we're now left with what I've experienced a GREAT health care system

Taft, just like brian mason, is a useless mouthpiece who have life so easy sitting on the sidelines and simply bitch and moan with absolutely zero possibility of every being the party in power and then held to task.

The world would be a just place if I could spend a week without showering and only poorly wiping my sphincter to then have each and every CRA employee lick my ass crack!

At least that redneck fucker Morton didn't win....that guy is a piece of work - makes Stephen Harper look like Jack Layton.

At least Stelmach is a middle-of-the-road conservative....
