Anything Beck puts out is worth buying for me. (except Stereophonic). One of the few people who's concert I go to everytime he's in town. Seen some great shows with him.

I am jealous. He has never came to Winnipeg. What I really like about this guy is that his albums never sound the same. His constant experiments with his sound and his odd poetry sets him apart from most. He's a musical fuckin' genius. Like Trent Reznor and Maynard James Keenan.

I played Mellow gold until broke in half in my Walkman ages ago. I've replaced this album about 3 times.

MellowGold - Loser, Beercan, Nightmare Hippy Girl (My theme song.), Soul Suckin' Jerk, Sweet Sunshine, Truck Drivin' Neighbour

Odelay- Devil's haircut, Novocaine, Hotwax, High 5 (Rock the Catskills), Lord Only Knows, The New Pollution

The Information:
Nausea, Cell phone's Dead, The horrible fanfare / Landslide, Dark Star, 1000 BPM, No Complaints

Personally, I like all of these albums.

This is my main play in the car these days.
I think it's his best shit yet!
I know exactly what you mean, I have Lateralus and The Information going non-stop. Excellent driving tunes. It is the best album yet.

Yeah me too. I am more of a metal fan. I am the "Kill em' all" "Badmotorfinger"(JESUS CHRIST POSE) type. lol Still an excellent CD, I listen to everything from Johnny Cash to Pop Will Eat Itself.

Hey LG, I forgot to mention "Devil Got My Woman" and "Epro".

Thanks for the heads up SD. I'm going to look him up on youtube. Loved "loser" when it came out. Major unpretentious breath of fresh air at the time.

Here are some of my favorite ocular fixations: ...
I just checked all of them out. I like how unpolished Beck's rhyming is. However, the other stuff ... I don't know ... didn't really do it for me. The animation and mood of the Tool clip was very well done. NIN clip reminded me of the legend of "performance artist" John Fare. Who basically amputated all his limbs before killing himself. Like Leonardo da Vinci, he didn't do alot of work but what he did was very well executed...

I guess I'm a bit of an old fuddy duddy:
