Question to SPs with pro pics done
Where do you get them done for an affordable price?? I've looked through google and what not but there are thousands of adds.
I'm sure those who requeted pics from me would appreciate a full body shot. It would definatly be nice to have.
Help me out a bit?

Budget SP pics

Out of all the websites, I would suggest Vancouver-Exotics website for inspiration and copycat poses.

You can find a photographer in the yellow pages under photography, erotic. They have specials, such as the $99 quickie-pose special. But you may not be able to keep the negatives.

I would definatly like to kep the negatives.. I also would really like a full session with a bunch of my own outfits and different scenes with each outfit. None nude. Does this still requite an erotic photographer?

IMO get a couple of decent shots, preferably at least partially nude, that clearly show what we're buying. Cut the crap with costumes and cute clothed photos and lighting that kills the view and the rest of it. We both know what we're here for, so let your advertising focus on the customer's primary decision-making criteria - and for most of us this is not a parade of costumes.

If you want to keep the negatives.

All naked women want to keep the negatives. From nude Vanessa Williams to nude Cameron Diaz (USD $3.2 million extortion attempt this week.)

Lisa you should just show up with your own film. It is a lot harder for the photographer to say “I refuse to give you back your own film!”

He’ll just (should) charge you more, but that is the trade off.

I told Pandora to stop using the black and white film, and to use NPH and NPS film instead. Since Lisa is on a budget then just go with the NPS. It is not expensive to buy, use, develop, or print from this type of film.

It raises photographers’ eyeballs when some “newbie” young woman shows up with a refridgerated cooler roll (or pack) of film, forces it on him and commands him with “here stick it in your cooler for our shoot for tomorrow.”

There’s photographers in the ad section of Georgia Straight.

another idea: I have a dig cam... but so do very many of my clients.. so if I didn't own one, I would ask one of my clients to take several shots of me as a precursor to the main activity. Its fun for them, fun for you and the best part, is they can give you a disc of all the shots you posed for (or email them to you) right after you are finished with the session. Shouldn't cost a thing!

Maybe she wants the fantasy, or at least a little artistic quality.

Maybe Lisa wants to look at her sparkling collection of erotic pictures and reminisce that those were the prettiest pictures that anyone ever took of her – when she was in the flower of her youth. The prime of her providerdom. All SPs want that. All women want that.
Maybe she wants a true artist to take her picture and not a plumber – I mean a pooner.

I have a great shot that was taken of me, by a client, using my own digital camera. It ended up being used in SEE Magazine in February. Regular folk can actually take great pictures, y'know...

haha.. where would one get that film? I don't have a clue what NPS is..
Also i would love some of the professional, sparking, make me look fabulous so i can show my grandkids when im 40. And yes hehe, i could very easily be a grandmother at 40! But I also want some Every day disposible camera shot of me in every day or evening wear. I'm all about being real but with a few pricy fancy shots on the side ;)
Wish i could get a digi cam! What a great Idea!
Thanks guys, i would have responded earlier, but i didn't think the thread was moving along anymore.

I recently had a photo session with Aura McKay. Got the pics back the other day, and all I could say was "wow". Out of the three rolls that we used, (B&W and color) only a handful were unusable. Usually it's the other way around. She put it all on a cd-rom for me, put all of the pics on 3 'contact' sheets, put them into albums, and framed two of her favorite shots, all for what I think was very reasonable, considering how many usable shots I got. Here's her website, and if you want, I can e-mail you a few of mine so that you get an idea of what she's like (from a non-adverising perspective).

Cost?

How much did the 3 rolls session cost?
Was this 3 rolls x 36 shots or 3 rolls x 24 shots?
How much time was involved?
