    She's baaacckkkkk.....

Hey guys!! Boy did I miss this!! It has been awhile since I have logged in and it appears that I have missed a bunch of really amusing stuff. So Sheri is back and ready to put her two cents in where ever she sees fit. So much has happened and I do not know where to begin. First of all, I got my ass off track. Waaayyyy too many LE's on Kingsway (Hitrack - have you noticed the crack down?) and I am primarily doing out and in calls. (Gee now if that was not a slick business promo I don't know what is....)
So all in all, I am glad to be back and seeing some familiar names and some new faces as well!!

    Love, Sheri

Glad your back the more posters the merrier. Kingsway and me are taking a long vacation. Haven't "cruised" Kingsway for almost 10 months now and I'll give it a LOT longer before I venture that rout after hours again.

    Just keepin it real DT.

PS: LE is always hot, those boys have a unique knack for ruining a perfectly good evening of cruising.

    Long Sotry....

Well my dear is a long a painful story. Not for me but for anyone else that has to endure listening to it....
90 hours per week for a year got the best of me (Superwoman complex) and I simply needed a time out. Ended up losing the day job due to fact that word got out about what I actually do in spare time and it seems that they did not want to have a ho working for them......their loss I guess. That would seem to be an occupational hazard. Despite the attempts that I made to make them understand what I did on my time was my business, it had little impact. Not going to fight it either. No point in having all the dirty laundry come out. Too bad, I could have made my bosses lunchbreaks fun. So I decieded to rest a bit and come back with a clear head. Thanks for wondering about me though. It is nice to be back.

I seee! I must say it is your boss's loss. Afterall, it can be fun working away at his desk while you are underneath it. Oops... that was Bill Clinton I was thinking. lol...

Yeah but I don't think that there would be enough money in the world for me to be under the desk.....
Question for you guys though....do you honestly think that is it right to let someone go for what they do on thier own time and it does not adversely affect that person's work ethic? Just a thought.....

I don't think they can legally let you go for what you do on your own time, unless you are up so late at night, or drunk etc that it affects your work performance.

If anything, if they wanted to let you go, they shouldn't have made mention of your moonlighting and just said they are downsizing or something. This avoids them from getting into hot water if you wanted to persue the matter.

But Clinton also tried to cover it up with the vague "I did not have sexual relations. I did not have inappropriate sex. There is no truth to the allegations." Clinton told all his senior staff that nothing happened and to publicly support him. They all got burned.

Maybe they can't legally let her go, but that doesn't mean once the cat is outta the bag as it was for her they wouldn't make her life a living hell working there.

That is definately one thing to think about moonlighting in this business. How do you know your workmates don't cruise??

    double standard

It is a bit of a double standard in our society.

For example - would you want the best surgeon to operate on you or the best laywer to represent you , but he cheats on his wife, drinks, smokes and beats his kids.

Or would you prefer a mediocre surgeon to be digging around in your open chest or a mediocre laywer to get you off from a 5 year prison term -> but he is a good husband, good father and goes to church every Sunday.

Really hard to say on this on though.

if he beats up his kids and or his wife, I don't care who and how good he is in what he does he should be hang by the balls!

    Thanks!!

Thanks for your input guys!! I was trying to decide weather or not to persue the matter however in light of the current situation, I really had no use for any dirty laundry to be hung out to dry. I found myself between a rock and a hard place and I guess I will simply have to chalk it up to one of those life experiences that makes us all stronger....yea right!! I am however enjoying taking the summer off, 90 hours a week way too much for lil ol me. Right now I think I am going to lay low and just concentrate on the current job that I am doing now, which is much more fun BTW. So I guess that I means I will have alot more free time to see people (I am now available during the day guys!!!) and relax a bit before I start that grueling seach to find yet another straight job.....

    Love,
    Sheri

The interesting thing is if the workmates cruise, many are married, have girlfriends and may want to keep this part of their life private.

Anyone who doesn't or tries to give a sp a hard time is an idiot in my books.
