Has any one else noticed that the number of views is 100 times the number of actual posts. More of the people who just look and dont join should start contributing instead of just taking the info the members post. All these other people probably have some usefull info they could share.

You are right to an extent, however, a view is counted each time you read a thread. Therefore in the case of let's for example say the "Sydney" thread, if you logged in twice daily and read the new posts on that thread each day, at the end of 4 days you would be responsible for 8 views.

Add up the number of guys who've posted there and who would each be checking up on the latest and yeah a thread can have a large number of views.

i think when you post reviews, you have to do so because you are a purist and you are hoping for others to post, but you have to be content if all they want to do is beat off on their keyboards.

i post because if feel i have to keep up the tradition of what i learned from my two godfather figures in this sport, "FERGIE and ERWAH", those 2 were the kings of the EAEB board that i tried to resurrect last november after a 2 year hiatus. i started as a wide-eyed rookie first round draft pick in 2000 and i learned from those 2 hall of famers. i gathered so much valuable information from them and they pretty much had the same taste in women that i had so i could rely (at least on the appearance part) on their goodwill and willingness to share valuable information. in the end, i feel i have come full circle and you either give back to other people some of the wisdom you acquire or you really are just a selfish, fucking loser that sucks the life out of all you come in contact with and hopefully your selfishness will be rewarded by full service session resembling the most terrifying movie ever filmed, "The Crying Game".

Rest in Peace Fergie and Erwah, your willingness to teach young Jedi and kindness to share info about the babes you banged is not forgotten.

I agree with diesel

I have to agree with "diesel" that the ratio of viewers to posters is pretty high on this board. If you compare it to another local board, say the Oilers forum:
http://www.edmontonoilers.com/forums/index.php

you will realize that the ratio there is about 10 to 1, which is the way it should be.

I hope more active members join this forum!

There are some of us who may or may not have information to contribute, but mainly our thanks is to be either flamed or dismissed.

True, my main interest is the street and I do a fair amount of cruising. Most of the time it is for reconn. I may go for long periods without stopping. I don't pick up SWs for conversation. When I do stop, I'm serious. It seems that the majority of posters are of the opinion that there are nothing but skanks and trannies out there, but not so. When I mention that patience is the key, it's true. If you think you can just jump in your car and go out and pick up a Cindy Crawford look-alike, think again. I have entered and maintained a number of very good relationships with some gorgeous SWs. Contrary to some statements made about me, I have very high standards. Like many of the MP posters, I live with the philosophy that treating a SP with courtesy and respect gets a lot better results than being an a**hole.

I guess what I'm really trying to say is that if we want to have more contributions from people on the board, we have to understand that not everybody is the same. Those of us that prefer to ride between the curbs aren't cheap-a** outlaws looking for a "deal". It's just a matter of preference.

I think you have to keep in mind especially with a board like this is that people are looking for tips and may not have taken the plunge into the hobby as some of the regulars to the board have. So they probably don't feel they have anything to contribute at first. And considering the nature of the hobby may not feel comfortable openly discussing such things themselves.

I don't think you'll be able to get the same type of participation with this type of board as you will with the more mainstream variety but hopefully as readers get more comfortable they start contributing on their own.

As far as pleasuring themselves while reading these messages?? Man I hope not. Find a news reader or a cheap porn site or something. There's nothing here to get hot and bothered over. :)

Big Help

I'll add my two bits to this thread.
I love PERB Edmonton, because I am always straying. One or two (well, three, tops) is about my limit with any particular SP, then I'm searchingfor the next best thing. Besides, I'm always on the lookout for Greek delights. Let me tell you, I have received some great advice on this board for which door to enter or bell to ring next. Thanks all contributors (even balls -- you gotta love that one!;)). I hope my reviews have been helpful too.

I couldn't agree more with the Colonel....there are those of us who have a few regulars and have posted reviews on them a few times, only to get flack for being a shill. If anything I would rather keep my reivews to myself so I don't have to share my favorite girls. Instead I give my thoughts and then move on. I stray once in a while when one piques my interest, but not very often. Been ripped off and disappointed too many times. On another note, I also do a bit of cruising and didn't think that anyone would be interested in that here...

I have noticed a lot of new names on this board lately an want to welcome all the new contributers. Great to have you on board with us.
In response to some other posts on this thread;
There is nothing wrong with cruisng. we ALL have done it whether we admit to it or not. Buying or just looking it is fun to check out all the ladies trying to attract a date(especially in the summer when clothing is less)
We all have different tastes in women. just because you only see the same ladies dont be affraid to post. All info is good. If you had a good or bad session share the news. The people on this board are alot nicer than Canbest was

Lucky to be in Edmonton

I don't know if you realize just how good you have it up there.

I'd be hard pressed to find even a third of the quality of MP and providers that exist there, and with all the competition, the room fees are negligable. In most cases they are included in the fee of two browns, you can't get that ANYwhere else.

I come up as often as possible and see two to three in a day, because it's just a smorgasbord for me. What a yummy way to spend a day. Expensive, yes, but nothing like what Vancouver, Seattle or even the slim pickins in Calgary are costing. It's well worth the trip for me.

My fear is once the world realizes what you have, the costs will inevitably increase, so make the most of it while it's still affordable!

I saw Anna at Eurospa, Miko at fantasy and Taylor of the Cove while I was there this time. I am so glad I save the best till last. What a doll!
She's mine. I could put in a bad review just to throw you off, but what's the point? Just make sure you treat her right.

Tried several times to get in to see Mercedes after seeing her picture, but Wild Rose is way too busy, for good reason I suspect. That makes Taylor even more the deal of the day, as she wasn't rushed and we connected fabulously.

All the women I saw today were slim, fit and sexy. Miko a little too vulnerable and doesn't like big boys as they don't fit very well. She was very cute and a lot of fun, but unless I can get a full unrestricted session of fun in, there's no point in returning. So much more to see and do.

Anyone with suggestions on a Taylor or Zoe equivalent? The guys on the seattle board call the petite ones spinners like on a spit....:D

I like to think of this place as a public service of sorts. You're not going to see SPs in SEE Magazine's Annual Readers Best/Worst Polls. You're not gonna see Val Oczkowski (CFRN) nor Robin Stickley (Global) do a consumers investigation story on bad MPs who rip off their customers. You won't see Graham Hicks reporting on the comings and goings of the SPs. You will not see MPs being reviewed alongside restaurants, books, CDs and movies. It's up to us to share information on who rocks and who rips, industry news, and what to expect from certain SPs. It's also becoming evident that the SPs are paying attention to what we are saying, and making decision accordingly - witness the MPs who are now getting their websites up and running. Essentially, we can now make or break them. And that's a good thing, because it ensures that they continue to maintain high quality service.

I think lowqtus hit the nail spot on, we are very lucky in edmonton. As I mentioned before, I am a newbie here, but was a hobbyist in Vancouver prior. Two browns is an awesome deal, especially at the classy joints. I will definitely be able to go a little more often, but still, funds are tight and not often enough.

Wolverine is right that reviews like these are the only place to make sure we get good service. On that note, I hope that there are many SP's reading our comments, and we should encourage this! I notice when reading the reviews that we do have some SP's among us, and good for them for coming our. Let your favorite SP know about this site, and their service will improve! Even if they just browse and learn, it will all benefit the hobbyist in the end.

As for posers, well, I don't know what to do with them, but I think it is fairly obvious (though not entirely obvious) who knows what they are talking about and who doesn't.

I agree with Grendleaxe.

Normal recourse for complaints is limited in this business.

Internet resources provide improved info and service but thats a two way street and hopefully most of the posters will be responsible with their info.

Dissatisfied?

I agree that a forum such as this is a good thing for checks and balances. However you cannot force an Sp to lower her rates or to provide better service. You can however avoid her and she might change when forced with loss of buissnes. This board is so helpful. I mean I spent ten years in this hobby learning by taking a few for the team. Not to often thank god!! Only thing worse than lousy sex is lousy sex you pay for. But any sex is better than a good day at work! HA HA.
