Local MP for sale...is it worth buying?

A pretty well known MP in the Greater Vancouver area is for sale. The Hamster is worried that if he invests, the gangs will put pressure on him to shut the place down. Does anyone know for sure, if the Russians or Asian or HA, have control of all the MP's?

Cost is around 150 k with profit around 40 k.

The hardest question is the girls. Beofre you entertain thoughts of being the master of your own universe, go and round up 10-15 girls that you would F** for money, in other words, good looking and clean, and that have experience in the business. Can't find that many, then don't go any further! it's as simple as that.

    What are you buying?

    Assets or shares?
If assets, how much for goodwill? May be paying too high if management/employees don't stay, clients are not repeats and no name brand.
If shares, what is its liquidation value (what you get if you sold all its assets and paid all its debt)? How many years' earnings is the price per share?

You may be able to arrange a buy-out over 3 yrs with price dependent on earnings but how do you get true earnings in a cash business?

Is biz locked into a lease? If so, they should be paying you to take over lease!

150,000 for 40,000 means about 4 yrs to get all yr money back. Is this too long?

Conclusion: Do yr number crunching. Is yr money better parked elsewhere with guaranteed returns? Is this a hobby or investment? Can you start a new company?

    Lightbulb Hmmmmmmmmm . . .

Ok . . . we chip in a hundred monopoly bucks each. . . hire the Hamster to run it . . . spend all our spare time interviewing new girls . . . and seriously eating the profit. So what, we have some fun for a while being big shots at the bars, wearing ostridge feathers in our caps, driving baby blue Cadillac Eldorados, getting all our friends and enemies laid, and then re-selling the business for a big profit to the pooners from TERB.

    . . . anybody in?

    MP for sale

    Yo Hamster:

over the last 10 months your posts have always been relevant and concise, with a big dose of humor. Now you fantasize about purchasing A MP??? Where is you brain operating these days. This industry (at the MP/brothel) level is currently experiencing real problems for goils at each MP location because of the real decline in Vancouver;'s economy. Plus the increasing quality of indy's which I most prefer.

The stock market axiom is DON'T buy high!!!! Any MP right now would take 20 cents on the dollar!!! Bargain Negotiate.

PM me if you need assistance. (Don't read this as "consultant fee" expected.)

    Thanks for the info!

Wow, the Hamster is thankful for everyone's quick and informative responses. The MP in question is cloud 9 in case anyone was wondering.

The Hamster will likely just sit back and find something to invest in...The Hamster would love to buy an apartment and just do a low key MP, but right now isn't the time to buy property in Vancouver. Over Priced is putting it lightly!

If you buy an apartment for let's say 150k, and have 2 to 3 girls a night working the two bedrooms similar to College Cuties, it's all gravy as far as the Hamster can see...

BTW if the Hamster ever did open a College Cuties type place, all the ladies would be hot, and 1/2 hr would cost $150 and 1 hr $180. Shoulds fair right?

    Hey bigguy. . .

. . . what do you mean a real decline in Vancouver's economy. These are actually pretty good times all-and-all. Lowest long-term interest rates in history, a booming construction industry, a new government that understands and supports private sector business, an Olympic bid we are about to win, mighty fine weather, great beaches full of schoolgirls in g-strings, the worlds best restaurants and complete multi-cultural harmony.

If we can get Hamsters MP business started . . . we can get a bidding war going on the re-sale. At the peek of the market, we will not only have the TERB pooners as potential purchasers . . . but we will also be negotiating with the IOC.

We live in the greatest place in the world.

LOL! Yah, if you believe he's a CFO, maybe you would you like to buy...

Then again, he could be the Porter/CFO of a liquor distribution company!

Talking Money for mongers! Hamster looking for investments?

If Hamster is considering investing in risky MPs, then does Hamster trade stocks or derivatives?

I nibbled on some DIAmond CALLs today.

Since these are extremely risky, I only nibble and scale into them.

Judging by some of the responses to Hamsterís outrageous thread, I can sense there is a fair bit of financial acumen on this monger board. I was just curious what Hamster and the other mongers invest in, or what economic, fundie, techie indicators that they are eyeballing?

Hamster where is the ad for the MP?

ďThe best of luck. It doesn't sound easy.Ē

    Thatís right, pimpin ainít easy.

Out of curiousity, where exactly is the ad for sale, for this Cloud 9 MP?

Oh yes, about the suggestion to buy the diamond puts, there is a massive tug of war going on today in the markets. It will move a lot up or down in two or three days.
